There has been a boom in posts that don’t violate any guidelines being flagged and removed. Fishbowl has had a lot of ups and down for our team. It has been a great tool to track inventory but not the greatest tool to develop quotes in a fast quoting environment. I do enjoy the ease of placing orders inside fishbowl and developing transfer orders to process our additional locations. I also enjoy the ease to fulfilled a order in fishbowl as well. #### Cons I do not like how unforgiving Fishbowl is when a mistake has been made after an order has been fulfilled, adjusting any errors seems pretty difficult to do in fishbowl on processed orders after they have been fulfilled. It is also very hard to develop reports inside of fishbowl as well unfortunately fishbowl spits out a lot of reports per item and not by per order or quote. I also am not a fan of the constant restarting the server when it comes to setting up new location groups. It is user-friendly and finding information and navigation is relatively easy. #### Cons It is comparatively difficult to get correct information out of one report. It's hit or miss. I don't like the training videos. They don't work for my industry. It's database keeping is pretty good, and the ability to sort is great. But it's also frustrating when there are things you want to be able to do, and just can't. There's no notification process when someone receives something a salesperson entered. So we have to go hunt down that Sales Order, then the person who entered the sales order, THEN we have to go into another type of message system to inform them UNLESS they are logged in to FB right at that moment. With a limit to how many people can be logged into the server at once that makes this yet another unnecessary step to do something very simple. It has good options for sorting materials and making build lists, or manuf orders. #### Cons There needs to be more fluidity between the modules. I shouldn't have to put a cost in 3 different places for it to be able to be seen on a report. Also you should be able to click on the inventory tab on another mod to be moved to the inventory mod like you can between the part and product numbers. Overall good, as IT Director, the product seems solid and its nice to have reliable support to leverage if i ever have any issues i cant resolve. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Anytime I have an issue i always feel confident i can call Fishbowl support and get the help to fix my issue on the call. They immediately remote in and we work through the fix, while also being educational so i can support it myself later if i come across the same issue. If the tech on the phone cant solve the issue, they get assistance from an engineer. But i always end up with a fix, and left with no concern if it will get fixed or not. #### Cons Backups filling up storage causing backups to fail until i manually login to the server and delete old backups. Maybe happens every other month, but i was told latest version has a fix to auto delete old backups so i no longer have to manually.
