Pros:

What I like most about Oneir is its ERP capabilities. It’s completeness and ease in capturing all transactions from sales through job costing to financial reporting in real time.

Cons:

The wait for the 2nd Gen. up grade to the windows platform has been a bit longer than we hoped ….but it’s coming and we are excited!

Reasons for choosing Oneir

We have reviewed these others and have stayed with Oneir due to its full product modules available, all in real time and at affordable pricing.

The team is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to understanding client needs and delivering practical solutions. Since the Software is advanced it will take some time/effort to get fully up to speed with all the features.

Pros:

The program is fully integrated, from POS to GL. The POS is easy to use which makes the training for new staff a piece of cake. Compared to other products that I have seen; it is very comprehensive and as such the value is significantly worth more than the cost. Even today, after thirty years of use, we find components and capabilities within the various modules that we didn’t know existed that help us with our day to day operations and reporting. The customer support has been proficient and responsive for routine issues.

Cons:

There are only two negatives come to mind. 1) is here is not an updated training manual 2) as mentioned earlier, routine issues are quickly resolved however, on more complex issues the ball seems to be dropped and the problem doesn’t get resolved.

Our business structure focuses on bulk fuel sales, and Oneir has helped keep our inventory management, customer accounts, invoicing, and reporting organized and efficient. The system supports our cardlock and fuel operations well and offers the flexibility needed to manage our more complex business structure. It also streamlines reporting and customer account management, saving time and improving accuracy.

Cons:

It's been reliable from day one. Simple interface that we can train most people on. Although I am the only user right now. Love the inventory feature.

Cons:

We will be moving to virtual offices soon and I use a Chromebook. So we'll have our tech team figure out an easy way for me to be able to use it.
