Pros/Cons
Pros
- Good, responsive tech support by phone or email--my many questions are quickly answered. Some good customization and integration options.
- What is important for me is having the support I need to figure it out. This company hands down has the best support I've seen in quite some time.
- The calendar is easy to use, and while I haven't used the payments/contracts features, they seem like they will be a real help when we get into the heat of our event season.
Cons
- Too much room for error when keying in multiple sections during the initial setup process for an event.
- In general, it can be difficult to navigate the different "silos" of EBE, between line items, proposals, event page, and so on.
- I'm not sure I'm using EBE in the exact way it was intended.
Pros
- RegFox has been a great switch for us and I love the way we can make attractive events with less fees to registrants. They continue to add new features and are very easy to reach for support.
- I was particularly impressed with the ease of exporting registration lists, modifying registrations (refunds for specific amounts - fabulous), and setting up the registration form to my preferences.
- I LOVE everything about this program that I have used so far. It is user friendly, cost effective, highly customizable, and there are tons of options.
Cons
- Finding something to put here is pretty difficult. A very small negative was that when trying to find something very specific I wanted to do, but had a little trouble locating.
- This could be a fairly large negative for organizations that have large income events as a larger portion will go to the software.
- The set up of my campaign was extremely difficult and user experience unfriendly.
