There was no down time at all, we were up and running the same day we signed up. The amount of event detail/tracking it allows and the assigning of tasks and assets is great. Cons: The only downside is that it is not inhouse, we had to go to an outside company/site to find a solution, though it does allow you to integrate with your calendars in outlook/google.
