Priava is a cloud-based event and venue management solution that helps users manage events, logistics, catering and resource requirements at multiple venues.

Priava allows users to search through venue and contact information. Users can both customize predefined templates for event reports or create their own. Users can preview, save and export reports in Excel, Word or PDF formats.

Priava helps users identify double booking with a conflict checking feature. Color coding helps users see whether an event is confirmed or tentative. The solution also provides a customer relationship management (CRM) module to track conversations related to a particular event or customer account. Users can also associate multiple customer accounts to a single event. The CRM module provides lead and referral management. Priava is PCI DDS compliant and secures data with SSL encryption.

Pricing is based on the number of licenses and functional modules provided. Support is provided over an email.

    The Tasks function! The ability to set daily tasks linked to events has made my day so much more productive!

    Cons

    It is a little cumbersome when changing guest numbers, they need to be changed in so many places within an event

    easy to use train staff in no time.

    empowerment for staff. Financial tracking beyond GL codes. Easy annual planning with the repeat function.

    Pros

    not relying on internal servers and IT for upgrades. Being in the cloud makes the package mobile. Have purchased a surface pro to deal with mobility.

    Cons

    reporting how its inserts comments as a picture is unclear on screen . Format to word and excel could be a lot better and dealing with comment as picture is boring. Bring on the App for Iphone and Android.

    It took around 3 hours to understand this product, its structure and how to configure the system and the remainder of one business day to do the configuration. The feature I genuinely like are the clean screens. I don't require a Panadol while using Priava.

    Pros

    The Clean screens and the easily understood workflow. Though you can easily modify the workflow to the manner in which you work. It is a very easy product to understand, configure and use. I was up and running with a fully configured system in 7 hours.

    Cons

    A number of features currently don't exists for the venue space booking.

    Installed at a venue that I help to oversee. Seems a huge improvement over paper. Very disappointed that mobile access is impossible.

    Pros

    Big improvement over paper systems. Works well for multiple-space venues.

    Cons

    Relies on Flash for functionality so can't access from Android, iOS. Mobile apps promised on FAQ page but no timescale given. Their blog talks about how you wouldn't use a 10-year old mobile phone, yet they're building on software that's been mostly obsolete for at least 5.
