Their customer service team is fantastic, highly responsive, and genuinely listens to feedback. #### Cons Managing a very dense schedule with multiple concurrent sessions can be a bit tedious to organize exactly how you want it displayed. The design options for the initial registration landing page are somewhat limited compared to dedicated website builders. The design features for the registration page is limited but we knew this going into the program #### Reasons for choosing EventMobi We also considered ventari and hellospaces (not in the list) - Price was a factor, the fact the there were apps downloadable in store and not only website based apps, support, that fact that you didnt need to cancel. That it could be only a contract per event if wanted. #### Reasons for switching to EventMobi We were not happy with the performance and support. Notifications were set up but didnt work. The conference platform was easy to navigate as a registrant/event user, and the SUPPORT TEAM hand holding us every step of the way was FANTASTIC! #### Cons The back end was a little overwhelming at the beginning, but overall became manageable once we overcame the learning curve. There were some bugs to work out with the integration with our Swoogo registration list. In the future see if you could embed REMO into the main stage. We also got into a crunch at the end of the prep-phase, because it was not mad aware to us how much work would still need to be done by the EM team to prepare the transition slides. But it all worked out in the end! #### Reasons for choosing EventMobi We already had an existing contract with EventMobi for other products, so it was easy to combien and migrate. We also felt that our membership had some familiarity with EventMobi. I have used other competitive tools on the market and I felt like I was drowning in FAQ's. Even with a semi-technical background when I needed help I could hop on a chat or give someone a call and get a real response and guidance. They are the best team, you never feel like you will just be given a link to figure it out yourself. EventMobi makes sure you have the support you need. #### Cons Nothing really. You can get a little overwhelmed about how to set up your widgets and links but if you are worried you can ask them to look at it and give you their advice. #### Reasons for switching to EventMobi It was expensive and their support and service was a struggle. What likely happened is that login details carry over across all EventMobi apps. So if someone had used an EventMobi app before, they’d need to log in with the same password they originally set. If they don’t remember it, using the password reset or one-time code should do the trick, as long as they’re logging in with the same email they used to register for the event. For attendees, EventMobi has been a great resource before, during, and after the conference. The engagement and interactive features are a great tool. We've been able to offer multiple scavenger hunts and networking challenges on the app, which increases engagement among attendees, speakers, and exhibitors/sponsors. #### Cons Tried the name badge feature, as we were utilizing the exhibitor lead retrieval, and found that we should have printed through the EventMobi printer option. We also linked RegFox with EventMobi and found their were several glitches during the syncing. We continue to use the app for a variety of reasons. It delivers a professional end result, allowing us to avoid printed programs, and therefore being more sustainable. First, the app is very user friendly for our team to do the set up. We build the Agenda, speaker profiles, live polls, sponsor/exhibit profiles and more with basic training needed. Additionally, we love the Q&A feature which allows the audience to post their questions for speakers, then upvote (no more running around with a mic!). Attendees are highly engaged in the app and have reported a positive user experience. #### Cons I don't have anything to share on Cons. Since the last time we used it, Eventmobi added a mobile app that is downloadable from the App Store or Google Play. That made it a lot easier for users compared to previously accessing a web link. #### Cons There are a few things we wanted to display that were not readily selectable. Some were documented, and others were not. However, Eventmobi support was very responsive and very helpful for those. #### Vendor response James! We are able to provide attendees with a schedule, speaker listings, vendors, maps, and more. *The EventMobi template app has enough options that we can customize it to our needs, but is specific for conferences so we are not drowning in options. *The app notification systems is a lifesaver for sending instant announcements to attendees during the conference. *Before we used printed guides and decisions had to be made weeks prior to the conference for printing. Now, with EventMobi, we can make changes during the event and everyone is automatically updated. (Room changes etc). *Tech Support helped us copy over last years app so we didn't have to start from scratch this year, each year it gets easier to set-up. We save lots of time using an app vs. paper guides. *Add on features allow us to customize our app to what we need. * Ask a Question allows the audience to participate in a panel discussion by submitting their question on the app, and a moderator could display the question for the audience to see. Allowed us to get to the real questions from attendees. #### Cons *It does rely on users downloading the app and having access to wifi or wireless data. Some conference centers have poor cell reception. We had issues with some participants receiving notifications if they were in areas with poor cell reception. *Sometimes people with poor tech skills struggle with the app. They have a hard time seeing how the data is interconnected. It’s a reasonably priced, solid platform for all of our virtual event requirements. #### Cons There were some options (such as breakout rooms) that needed refining when we originally started using the platform, but those have been upgraded over time. #### Vendor response Sarah!
