Pros/Cons
Pros
- I like how many projects it is capable of helping me with. It is a very detailed and impressive software.
- I like how easy it is to navigate in this application. It has great tutorials and places you can learn what each function does.
- One of the best features that Illustrator offers is its integration with all other Creative Cloud products like Photoshop.
Cons
- There is nothing to dislike about Illustrator apart from the fact that the first time you fire up the program, the "getting started" page pops up which is undesirable and also impacts RAM usage.
- I dislike how cramped the software can feel even with the option to change around were things are located stuff just seems to be lost easily.
- I hate having to pay to use it. I only use the program occasionally, and I have to sign up for a whole month to use the thing for sometimes only a few minutes at a time, every few months.
Pros
- Easy to use with a great interface. Their ability to offer trial versions makes it more lovely as it will enable you to test the software whether it best for you.
- Customer service is great and there are also plenty of learning videos out there if you just can't figure something out. I can create masterpieces with this.
- I started my career as a graphics designer with this software and in a decade I can say I am pro at using CorelDraw. I love the interface and ease to use for all my creative work productions.
Cons
- Had to Contact support and reinstall so many times I lost count. When I complained the last time and requested a newer version to REPLACE the old one I was asked for another $500.
- This is the worst part that i experienced in this software amongst any other.
- I particularly waste a lot of time preparing these processes / files. Because corel doesn't have as many programs as your direct competitor, I see that integration with a cloud platform is missing.
