We don't quite have the money to pay for many users so we have not utilized the full scope of the reporting/costing side of PLM.

I love having everything in one place. The line sheets are easy to gather and very viewable.

I like how easy and straight forward the software is to use. It was easy to integrate into our current work flow.

So easy to use and the customer service is very helpful and follows up when I have questions.

It UX is very straightforward and most anyone with some tech savvy can quickly pick up on the functionality and adopt it in as little as a month.

The simplicity of the design of the system and that it is user friendly.

Once it's set up, it's a pain to go in and try to make changes. You can't sort the data about a specific product or search the page to find what you need.

They are supportive and help with integration as much as you need. They help recommend ways to better utilize their system and customer service is very responsive.

Great loved it well constructed and helped me so much.

I love the layout and easy to locate icons for what you need to upload in regards to our products. I also love that large images can be added to show our detailed product.

I really enjoy most features on backbone, and customer service is always great.

I also really like that they are constantly adding features and listening to their users about ways to make the platform better.

Backbone only gives a bad workaround asking us to use the fit and revision section for TP notes. Compare samples section is non-functional and difficult to view/comprehend.

One missing function in Backbone is a color tracking app. We are exploring ways to include and track lab dips within the platform.

The program is intuitive to use and dynamic, unlike many larger, more archaic PLMs. We feel able to scale for some time with Backbone, even as we expand into new product categories.

In general, I feel this software is user friendly - it has a well designed user interface that both looks good and is clear and easy to navigate.

There is no way to see a previous spec sheet or previous BOM if someone else makes updates or if someone makes a mistake. There is no notes section.

You are quite limited to the amount of variants each component can have which makes for further confusion.

I love the ease I am on the design team implementing this into our teams and the ease to explain and show simple tasks is incredible. I simply love the interface.

0 is a long process to learn but I love so much this is the best way to communicate with my team and vendors.

It's been pretty easy to work with Backbone. The customer service is prompt and cordial and we love our rep. The price for the system is also unbeatable, but you do get what you pay for.

We did implementation in record time and it's very intuitive to use, which makes onboarding interns and new hires super simple and low touch (very valuable for a small rapidly growing team).

Cost and set up is amazing. Seamless transfer of current files to new system.

Also the fact that you can only generate 1 TP at a time. It's very time-consuming and can be annoying during crunch time to generate multiple TP individually.

My only complaint is not having multiple select when adding colors in to components.

Most problems were solved or found a workaround. Some functionality is just not compatible with us so that had to be moved to other software.

Ve had a very good experience with backbone everyone helps when you have an issue and I feel like it fits well for my organization.

A big plus is how visual the interface is, and as a Designer, it is what makes this so much easier and more pleasurable to work in.

Don't like that the images are not easy/intuitive to update, correct. I find it simpler to download a new illustrator each time.

The software is really easy to use and very intuitive.

I design boats and if you are not careful, it is easy to loose your center line which is a big problem when building symmetrical things.

Difficult to draw by dimensions, not as fluid as SolidWorks. Also navigating between moving the view and moving the camera can also take some getting used to.

Don't misunderstand me, is not that is expensive, is that they don't offer free trials and is difficult for someone trying to learn the app to pay those prices.

Widespread and well received design tool for 3D by designers and architects. Numerous options for design tools and compatibility with other softwares make the software appealing to use.

Great layer and material management. Ability to tie to visual scripting platform (Grasshopper) to augment geometry creation and design analysis.

The nurbs modeling tool helps in better designing of complex models. The 3D visualization and rendering offered are great for design discussions to final model presentation and 3D printing.

Overall Rhino gets the job done and it good quality. Well worth the money to be able to produce clean renderings.

And when a procedure fails, it's often hard to figure out why and you end up having to spend a lot of time trying various other paths to get to your desired end.

Ease and agility in using the tools for creation, it runs well on MAC or PC and has a great renderer.

It consists typing in whatever command you like so you actively use keyboard on top of the mouse, it makes you really fast on giving commands.

There are still frustrations with occasional failed procedures. E.g., boolean operations, chamfers and fillets, etc.).

It is relatively limited compared to 3ds Max or other similar softwares in terms of material library or add-on  scripts.

I liked how easy you can make complex shapes, that I usually had to make in other regular 3d programs. Here I just need Rhino, and I have everything I need.

It integrates Grasshopper, a true game-changer in the emerging parametric / computational 3D design field.

Expandable through hundreds of free and premium add-ons and plugins. Integrates Grasshopper, a great visual programming language.

A single license is good for both Windows and Mac versions (Thank you!). McNeel keeps building more of what used to be add-ons into the core application.

Difficult to change and modificate textures on models.

Rhino's modeling logic is probably the best in the industry. It's easy to learn and easy to use.

This is important for us as we set out our sanitary ware in great detail and have to build a number of the less common products ourselves.

Regarding the mac osX version (which I am using), it lacks and differs both in some features and UI from the window version. That may prove confusing when switching between both operating systems.

Rhinos render is pretty and easy to use. Overall this program is worth every penny however it needs some time and build to be worth to use it on Industrial Enginering actively(over Solidworks).

This program is very easy to use and implement into your existing systems. It fit well with what I already had and enhanced them as well.

Rhino is the best app for learning how to 3D-model. It's UX/UI are not different that other programs, which makes it easy to understand it at first sight.
