It doesn't require frequent updates or constant money-grubbing. It allows for custom cover sheet messages on a per-user basis. Cons: Faxmaker is quite rudimentary. Its Tab function can often fail which means you have to click into the To: field. This sounds minor, but when sending many faxes a day (as a referral clerk, medical records clerk, etc.), this can be cumbersome. Changing the cover image is an absolute pain as there is no real administrative interface. It's simply XML code that must be manually updated. Customer service is non existing. Emails that I am receiving from them are always for some reason deleted (blank). We can never log into the account without the problem; our account seems to be always frozen. It takes days to get in touch with somebody.
