BookedIN Appointment Scheduling software


BookedIN is a cloud-based appointment scheduling app created for booking appointments and collecting payment for services. The platform allows users to set up automatic confirmation messages, reminders and notification reciepts. It is a suitable fit for any small businesses or individual entrepreneurs that schedule one-on-one appointments with clients and customers.

BookedIN offers contact management, scheduling and invoicing. Users can configure custom intake forms for their clients to fill out during the scheduling process. The application can also be customized to feature company branding and colors. 

Users can maintain multiple calendars, and BookedIN also tracks client histories including past bookings, payment history, no-shows, client contact information and notes. Mobile scheduling apps are available for iOS and Android devices. 

BookedIN offers a 30-day free trial of their system and multiple pricing tiers for continuing service. Tiers include unlimited booking plans for either one schedule or unlimited schedules with either monthly or annual payments.

    When it comes to management of online bookings, BookedIN is the right tool. You can easily track the bookings and send notifications

    There are occasional glitches but other than that, it is a tool that constantly evolves to become the ultimate app for scheduling.

    It was efficient and i really liked it and would continue to use it if it was cost effective for me as a single chair salon

    The cost was a little high for me and I didn’t like that I couldn’t book multiple services for the same client at once

    An amazing app to know the other persons availability and book the appointment instead of call, messages to confirm the availability.

    Cons

    I feel they should had some sort of sms reminders and also some timezone options availability as it will be very helpful.

    I love the pricing on this first off, and how you can get even lower costs by paying annually. IS easy to use and implement and works for many different types of businesses and offers a free 30 day trial so you can not lose

    Software is a monthly cost, you can not buy the software out right so the long term costs will definitely be greater than purchasing the software.

    Easy access, I can sync to my personal calendar, appointment reminders for clients (although I wish there were more options for reminders: like a day before notification/reminder). Love that I can pull up app from my computer or mobile devices.

    Cons

    I can't pull over clients who are already in my contacts. It would be so much easier if I could have access to my contacts when booking a new client who may already be in my phone contacts. Right now I have to copy phone numbers and email address from contacts in order to add to bookedin to book appointments.

    Time and money saved

    Pros

    Straight forward to use with clients. No hassling on my rates, easy to accept deposits instantly and the funds go into paypal where I can save money easily.

    As a group calendar its very hard for my clientele to specifically find my days available vs my associates.

    This is very useful to schedule and track any appointments and also we can get notification call and emails to remind.

    While using bookedin there is an Ease of booking appointments on my computer, organization shop wide, user friendly , color coded, place for appointment notes.

    when using booked in and booking on the cell phone, everywhere you touch tries to book an appointment, which makes it extremely frustrating to work easily.

    I like the confirm appointment feature, and how you can customize your message. I also like how it keeps a data base of my clients.

    The price is expensive, but I do like this program the best. Also the app sometimes doesn't work on my phone and freezes up.

    Easy to use, I like the texting reminder feature the best. I also like the auto search as I begin punching someone's number in. The public / private services are also a plus as what gets seen by public is different than my needs

    I would like to do a blast text for updates to my customers. Maybe even generate a list or who was seen and when? No on a single customer but multiple so I can do recalls

    This program has saved me lots of time between having to book all my clients in. It had also helped me to be better planned for the month

    The convenience for my clients to be able to just go on and see what times I have left saves us both time

    Cons

    That you can not book multiple services at the same time I often get many clients who gets confused when they get their appointment reminders and their is multiple times.

    Freeing up my time so that I might better serve Patients / Practice Members!

    Once clients are familiarized its use, BookedIN enables me to let clients make their own appointments, at their convenience and thus frees me up to keep serving other clients!

    Cons

    There are just a couple of nit-picky things I'd like to see implemented that haven't been implemented yet (such as different colors for different types of appointments) but I know some of these are already in the works (eg recurring appointments)!

    The ability to keep track of all my stylists and my schedules on the go, as well as allow clients to schedule online which they love.

    Pros

    I can take calls at home and schedule any time from my phone. I can see what my stylists are doing any time, which I love.

    Cons

    I wish it saved client info from the client side so I wouldn't get so many duplicate entries from clients who may not type their name in the same each time. Also, when they are booking multiple appointments, they have to type their info in each time. I wish it were easier to combine duplicate entries as well.

    Clients can see when you're available and when you're not available. Can also set it up for customers or clients to pay ahead of time.

    For the days not available wished that it was possible to just leave a note for public viewing without having to put in a time slot or availability times.

    Ease of adding patient information, allows me to make changes to names etc. Patients love the system.

    but do not like how u changed the time slots. Until I realized I needed to make sure all appointments said PM patients are getting emails in the middle of the night .. Not happy

    Hi Monica, Thank you for letting us know about that issue with the am/pm. I'm so sorry about that, a client getting an email for a 1:30am appointment is definitely not good! This issue was caused by a bug, and thankfully it is now fixed. The AM/PM should now default properly avoiding any confusion.     The automatic reminder to the clients is one of my favorite feature, booking clients have never been that easy and to see what the recent activities have been and what's going on. I love the side bar that keeps you updated on the upcoming appointments for the day. It is easy to confirm appointments also.

    Cons

    The fact that we are not able to see the appointments without internet connection is kind of annoying since I travel a lot.
    Finding a way to make it possible would be a big improvement

    The ease of use. We work other jobs, aside from our business & this is a very efficient way to book all of our appointments & keep our schedule organized. Our clients tell us that prefer the book now system over making traditional phone calls to schedule appointments.

    Cons

    The only suggestion I'd recommend is being able to attach a photo to a clients file would be very helpful to the tattoo industry.

    Our favorite feature is probably the email confirmations and text reminders. Our clients love the text reminders as well!

    Cons

    It would be nice if you could separate the activity according to each employee. Also, a feature that would show special notes about each client would be nice (without having to manually search the client individually)

    Pros

    I love the easy to use app.
    The services are easy to add and customize. My clients like the reminder text and emails. Also the same day text and reminders. It's easy to find the type of service your looking for and the drop down buttons help search items faster

    Cons

    The payments system is terrible. I don't use PayPal. So I have to use square to take make payments. So I have to book appointments on on system and use another system on another. I wish my clients could book multiple appointments at one time. And I wish they could get he app too so they can book appointments on there instead of having to go online. It's frustrating to have repeatedly send them the link.
