It has been great getting to work with the team on getting the software set up for my business and I am looking forward to really diving into getting the know the software so it can help grow my business.

Pros:

How in-depth the software is and how easy it can be to put a quote together. It will really help me stay on budget and make sure I am hitting the goals I have set for the business. It will also help me track the different divisions, so I know what is profitable and what is not. Scheduling of non-consistent work, ex snow removal, is going to be a huge help in the business moving forward.

Cons:

It can be quite confusing at first, but once you get in and use it, and ask questions during the set up calls it gets easier to use. Some things could get better, like how discounts work and auto charging a customer after a service has been completed. The design can be a little complicated at first as well until you get use to it.

I just felt it would be a better fit since it is strictly made for the green industry.

I made the switch as I didn't feel jobber was the proper fit for our company. I wanted something to really track different areas of the business as well as have a budget to work off of for estimates instead of really guessing what is needed.

Pros:

The program is so thorough, The training process was great and the rpogram really has so many features. Its going to be very useful as we implement. Takes the guess work out of estimating. The MORS is a game changer, it helps you discern Net profits from "profits" that arent really profits at all. Really the best part of the process has been our trainer \[sensitive content hidden\], he was so helpful & patient. very grateful for him.

Cons:

The man hours displayed for team view. For example, A team at a job site will see 1.5 hours because there is 3 team members, in reality the job should take the crew .5 hours. The 1.5 man hours should be something seen on the back end or atleast something that can toggled off for the view for crew leads. While i and my admin team understand the difference the team struggles with it and thinks they job should take them much longer than it should.

Aspire was more expensive and also seemed more complicated. Implementation seemed like an uphill battle.

I wouldn't really call it a switch as we're still using QuickBooks for our accounting. Also, the capability of software are completely different. LMN is a true software for my business.

John was great! I think the software is vague in some areas and could be sharpened up a bit. Some key features are missing as compared to Aspire. Not super technical items, some of the missing features could be a simple add on.

The app is very easy to use. John was super helpful with getting us setup. I think the training sessions should be stretched to an hour and a half. If someone buys this software, with no prior knowledge of how to navigate landscape software, they would be super confused. Once the training is over, we had a hard time implementing what we learned. The training videos have been a savior.

Cons:

\- not being able to automate a PO number once they are created. These have to be entered manually. - invoices not automatically syncing to quickbooks - Schedule vs Standard is confusing. Recommend it be Maintenance and Enhancement/Design Build. - Templates are a bit confusing. Would like to price things by square footage within the kit. - Need to be able to insert pictures into estimates. - Would like more options on the proposal template. - Making templates is confusing.

Our overall onboarding experience with LMN was very positive. Our onboarding specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\] , was knowledgeable about the product and great to work with—she made the setup process feel manageable and was always helpful when questions came up. LMN Academy was also a valuable resource, giving us a clear, structured way to learn the system and build confidence using the software. Pros:

One of the things I really appreciate about LMN by Granum is how easy it makes scheduling and tracking our crews through the Crew App. Being able to see where everyone is, adjust schedules quickly, and keep the whole team aligned in real time has made a huge difference in our daily operations. It cuts down on confusion, reduces back-and-forth communication, and helps us stay organized and efficient, especially on busy days with multiple jobs running at once.

Cons:

One downside I’ve found with LMN is the limitation around customer texting. While it’s helpful to be able to send SMS notifications out, the communication is mostly one-way. It would make a big difference to have true two-way texting built in, so customers could reply with questions or updates directly in the system. That kind of back-and-forth messaging would streamline communication, reduce missed calls and emails, and make customer interactions feel more responsive and convenient.

We switched from Jobber to LMN primarily for the increased efficiency of the CRM. LMN offered more robust tools for managing jobs, scheduling, and crew operations all in one place, which streamlined our workflows and reduced the amount of manual coordination our team had to do day to day.

LMN support is really beneficial when learning the platform. \[sensitive content hidden\] did an awesome job listening and breaking down the smaller details. Personally, learning new computer systems is extremely tough for me but \[sensitive content hidden\] took the time to go through everything slowly and at my pace while also pointing out areas where I could really use the system to my benefit. I’m looking forward to using LMN over the next couple of years to further refine my pricing.

Cons:

The hardest part of LMN is learning the details of the system. I don’t personally think there’s much that can be done to make this significantly easier to learn. Part of what makes the platform so powerful is the level of detail but that also comes with a steep learning curve to ensure those details are properly integrated into your business.

I switched over to LMN, two better understand my business and my pricing. It was also recommended to me by Landscaper in my community and Brian’s Lawn Maintenance. I also like the features like the crew app to help track time and employees and hopefully we’ll be able to grow our company with the help of LMN

Pros:

The customer support on boarding and continued support has been unmatched compared to other big players in the industry. When they say the software was built by landscapers for landscapers, they mean it. From leadership team down to field crew the app and UI is beyond what the others have even come close to. Time tracking through LMN is awesome and sometimes you can seem a little clunky, but what makes it great is that every job automatically has job costing for the time which is one of the most important factors in any business especially in ours, which is very labor heavy.

Cons:

No software is perfect for everybody. There’s only a few few things that would be on my wish list. Automations for client follow up would be one of them and then although their job costing is pretty solid I wish there was a way to integrate this better with other third parties like Dext or have AI recognize bills etc.. because let’s be honest job costing is only as good as the information you put in. An integrated comm/phone voip platform would be nice too haha

The budget tool and the access to customer service reps have been game changers for me. They’re not just a number on a website, they’re at events, in peer groups, just a phone call or text away. You truly feel supported every step of the way; they don’t leave you hanging.

Cons:

The schedule feature needs some work. I’d love to be able to use colors to quickly tell apart weekly vs. bi-weekly maintenance, tree work, or landscape enhancements. Maybe that feature is already there and I just haven’t figured it out yet. That’s one of the reasons I’ll be joining an LMN Boot Camp soon, to really dive in and learn.

One of my favourite features is the client portal. It provides a seamless way for clients to review and sign off on change orders digitally, eliminating the back-and-forth that used to slow us down. Even better, it maintains a complete log of everything the client has approved, giving us peace of mind and a clear paper trail if questions ever arise. Job Tracking & Dashboards This is hands down the most valuable feature for our business. The dashboards give us a real-time window into each project's financial health by tracking actual costs versus estimated costs. This level of visibility has been a game-changer in understanding true project profitability and making smarter decisions going forward. Estimating with Pre-Built Templates LMN's pre-built estimating templates have dramatically reduced the time it takes to put together a professional, accurate estimate. What used to take hours can now be done in a fraction of the time, without sacrificing detail or accuracy. Mobile App & Time Tracking The mobile app allows the crews to clock in and out directly from job sites, making it easy to accurately assign labour hours to the correct project. This keeps our job costing precise and ensures nothing slips through the cracks. Invoicing Invoicing with LMN is quick, straightforward, and professional. It streamlines the billing process so we can get invoices out faster and keep cash flow moving.

Cons:

As with any new software, LMN does come with a bit of a learning curve. Getting familiar with all of its features and workflows takes some time and patience upfront. However, in our experience, the more you use it, the more intuitive it becomes, and it genuinely gets easier with every passing week. What makes the transition much more manageable is the wealth of resources LMN provides to help you get up to speed. From detailed tutorial videos to comprehensive support documentation, there is no shortage of material to guide you through the platform at your own pace.
