PEAK implementation in Pharma Commercial sites

Issue was with client IT support which made it a long process. reality is that if that element was better supported implementation of the CIM PEAK platform would have a been quick and smooth and the 30 days to install and get up and running would have been achieved

PROS

Low cost high return. easy to price and exceptional support from the CIM team. PEAK is versatile for individual site requirements. Quick implementation as only takes approx 30 days to install then start to use the system.

CONS

No cons as yet , issues were because of the client IT support which CIM supported above and beyond their scope to get the solution implemented

CIM - 21st Century PEAKy Blinders

Overall experience has been very positive. We had success with resolving high overnight water consumption which had been investigated previously, but not resolved. The granularity of the data showed when the consumption was occurring and when it first started which by gave a strong lead to investigate resulting in the route cause being determined and rectified. Other wins have been tuning of central plant during times of low occupancy to reduce energy consumption without impacting tenant comfort.

PROS

Everyone involved in the building's performance is using the same platform to raise, discuss and investigate issues. The conversation that results from an action being raised, remains on the PEAK platform even when the action is closed so that future techs, FMs, etc. can see what has been done previously. This is particularly useful when considering a strategy to improve performance as one can review how the building has responded to previous strategies. It also means the handover between technicians and the handover from one Facility Manager to the next is less critical as anyone new can get up to speed quickly. The other really good thing is being able to pull trends from different buildings all in the one PEAK platform. Gone are the days of having to log into an individual BMS for each building which is not only time consuming, but with cyber security constraints within large organizations, getting access into the BMS is becoming increasingly difficult.

CONS

There are lot's of features within the menus and it's sometimes hard to know where they are. The notification email for updates to actions raised always links to the same page on PEAK and I suspect this is the page most used by techs and FMs. However, there's a lot more behind this page and a lot more features which most users probably don't realise.

Great System

have picked up on issues with the BMS and HVAC equipment that otherwise we would of not known about. Working with CIM has been great has they have help us to navigate the site and also to change the parameters as required.

PROS

Working with the team to help resolve the issues and to try and make it more user friendly.The Peak platform has alot of good information to help Building Managers/ Facilities Managers to keep the buildings running at a good level.

CONS

hard to navigate the site sometimes and trying to understand the data.

very positive and i let the experts do the work here. all i need to know is that there are clear processes in place to identify issues, find solutions and mark when the issue is closed out. it will also store a history of issues so at the end of a year we will know what items of plant are causing the most trouble

Great Product we get more from each week.

We have learned about issues related to our facilities which we never knew we had! As a manager of the facility, I have far more visibility and awareness than I would have with the BMS alone. Working with the CIM team is a pleasure and a learning experience every day.

PROS

Working with the CIM team is a pleasure. they are always very helpful and very knowledgeable.The PEAK platform gives good information and provides valuable insights into issues.It is helping us to optimise our facilities set-up and from which we can start focusing on further improvements.

CONS

It can be a little clunky finding your way through the platform at first - familiarity mitigates some of this.

Other products did not offer the same functionality as the PEAK platform.

I have used PEAK at multiple assets now and the team and PEAK has been instrumental in delivering results for our operations. My experience has been excellent from the implementation stage through to delivery - the CIM team and PEAK is a must for business' who are serious about make a sustainable change to our future in a ever changing climate.

PROS

By utilising PEAK the team at CIM have made a huge impact our centres business and it's operations. It is a key tool used to reduce our energy consumption and identify efficenices. The PEAK platform is user friendly and provides real data to make real time decisions.

CONS

There could be better system integration with other Facilities Management tools for improved work flow.

So far, the system has allowed the site team to have a better understanding of building HVAC performance on daily basis, as well as recommendations from the CIM Team. With live data being captured, our on-site contractors can efficiently action any request promptly.

PROS

1) Easy to use 2) Live & Accuracy of information 3) Enables the site team to view and execute specific tasks 4)Provides overall building performance with the recommendation for a quick, efficient and effective fix that needs to happen as soon as possible.

CONS

Peak User review

The platform assists in many areas not just for sustainability. It allows the monitoring of thermal comfort and other reactive maintenance issues and alerts building managers to issues before they become larger problems. Its user friendly and the engineers are always prompt in answering any questions you may have.

I don't think it has any downsides. I enjoy learning from the platform and engineers that can help with any technical advice or issues you may come across.

Good platform

PROS

It is another way of doing Maintenance on site as it highlights issues that need to be actioned.

CONS

1.Sometimes there are some items that re-appear as a fault. Even though it had been looked into previously. 2. There are also false alarms on that keep coming, for certain equipment that have been temporarily turn off for Repairs or renovations For example, AC equipments are removed during office fitouts and remain off. But we still get the same unit show failures. In all, if areas are under renovation, information can be shared with your team so that rules can change and fail-alarms related to these units are not sent/ or remain Off. Other then that, all good.

Review of Peak software

Use of the system has been quite easy and the online helpdesk gives you direct contact with the team so any issues can be resolved pretty much immediately. This equates to a good user experience!

PROS

The Peak dashboard has been quite useful for our organisation. I have found it very helpful in identifying faults with our HVAC system, things that the average FM wouldn't be able to do. They are able to set up alerts for discrepancies in the performance and then are able to identify the root cause of this. You are then able to forward these alerts straight onto the contractor which allows them to access the same data as you are.

CONS

I have found the program a touch clunky although is still usable.

Data is king

PROS

I can view the equipment in real time from one easy to use platform, but also take that platform mobile if I am moving around the building and need to raise the Alerts to contractors and tenants. CIM not only provides a summary of the issue, but also a number of recommended solutions, which is easy for any new or experienced FM to implement as an initial step. CIM has enabled us to resolve a number of issues before our building occupants can raise them!

CONS

I personally found the dashboard slightly confusing to manage and assigning/linking tasks. It has taken me a few training sessions with the team to understand

Great analytics tool

We have definitely found energy efficiencies over our portfolio with the use of PEAK.

The ease of use and interrogation of the system combined with the online dashboards are a key feature of the park platform and the add to the user experience. The tracker for issues is a great feature and allows for status updates and collaboration from all stakeholders

Office Building Owner who is delighted with the performance of PEAK

We have been delighted with our experience with PEAK. It has exceeded our expectations.

PROS

PEAK has helped us to increased our NABERS rating which has helped us decrease our running costs, decrease our maintenance costs, improve our sustainability credentials and thus in turn increase the value of our office buildings.

CONS

At times, I question whether our appointed facilities management teams are getting the most out of PEAK.

CIM Peak Review

We've been very happy with the platform and the broader CIM service, as although the software itself is impressive, the real benefits are best realised with the successful human interface between CIM and our operations teams.

PROS

Ability to track history of an issue and enabling input of commentary from contractors. Graphs provided are quite good. The ability to categorise / prioritise various issues is a good feature.

CONS

Needs greater focus on metered loads to support variance analysis. Singular focus on energy is a missed opportunity for companies such as ours who are also driven to reduce water consumption, particularly from HVAC (cooling towers) Some of the performance reports aren't overly useful

I have been pleased with the service provided by CIM Enviro staff members and the functionality of PEAK software to help improve operation of our building HVAC systems.

PROS

The PEAK Dashboard is very user friendly once you have been provided in-depth training. It provides great features such as individual tickets detailing issues with HVAC equipment across our various sites. This allows the FM to action these in a timely manner.

I am very happy with the software at this stage.

Energy saving, quick method to find fault devices in the field.

PROS

System searches/ processes data with industry norms to highlight issues then alerts user who can act immediately to address. Promts user to possible causes plus teams meetings allow all users to talk about system alerts thereby training also ensued.

CONS
