Wow! Potential new customers beware. If you are looking to use Pestroutes, beware. These guys charge $500 to give you a single backup of your own data. But it's only six fields of data. They don't give you all the the information. Apparently they say they own your customers data. Talk about sleazy business practices. We have had problems with this company in the past, they double billed us for 6 months. I wrote a bad review on Google that finally got the owners attention and I took it down after he reversed those double charges. But our inquiries into support were ignored up to that point. They are slowly making improvements to this software. After a year of using this software, the updates and changes are minor. They are now owned by a investment company. Before they sold, the owner (Jared Green) agreed that his software was not a good fit for us and said he would give us anything we needed to help us move on, but that never happened. I still can't believe they want $500 to give us a INCOMPLETE data backup, crazy. It's only 6 fields of data. There is so much customer data missing. It makes it nearly impossible to leave them and move to other software. Pestpac was only $125 for a FULL backup when we were using them. Google: "Termite Lawn and Pest Inc" (Orlando, FL) to call our office and we'll share all of our negative experiences we've had with them. If you sign up with PestRoutes after reading this review, then you have no one to blame when you have problems or try to switc

Pros:

The dashboard and auto finance charges are the only features I like.

Cons:

There are so many features and tasks this software lacks. We have to export data into a spreadsheet just to accomplish most of our needs. It's very time consuming and takes many extra steps. We've been trying for almost a year to switch to a software provide that better fits our needs. Pestroutes has made it impossible by holding our data hostage.

Superior service, Superior management software

Field routes has been great! Customer support has been prompt and knowledgeable. When I submit a request, they keep me updated as they are actively working on it. I love how easy it is to navigate and this makes training new employees so much easier! I wish the user experience was optimized across all different kinds of devices. The layout I see on the computer, I want my smart phone to match. Overall, FieldRoutes is the superior management software!

I love how user friendly it is across all departments. It is very simple to understand when training someone new for the first time.

Cons:

I wish the optimization was better across devices. As an office staff, sometimes, I have to write subscriptions from my phone. Once you get down to the recurring charges, you cant select the drop down arrow allowing to change the rate. This can be frustrating. I wish it was the same user experience whether I was on a phone, ipad, or computer

Expensive!

Customer support is easy to contact; easy to schedule; a lot of features cost money. My customers do state that it is very user-friendly on their end, which is honestly the only reason I have not switched, but I am considering other options as this is very expensive.

It is a system I am used to because a previous company I worked for used FieldRoutes, so I knew how it worked in the field.

Cons:

Expensive, and it cost me money when a customer uses the system to send emails, texts, or calls to me... I NEVER use FieldRoutes system to call or text my customers, but I always get charges for "calling or texting" the customer.

I've used FieldRoutes as a technician working with past companies... figured it should be easy for us to use as a small business.

FieldRoutes bought them out... I made the switch prior to the full merger.

Worth a try

Though I have only used FR for the CRM side things (not much of the sales side) I have to say they have been great! I am able to set up customer payments the way the customer, and company, want and the system take care of the rest. Because this isn't the first CRM I've used, there a few quirks I hate, but they are meaningless unless you are used to the same that I am. Overall, I recommend any pest company to try them out and see for yourself.

Pros:

FR has been pretty easy for us to use. Getting someone new trained quickly on both office and mobile is a breeze with Knowledge base at your fingertips. Support has always been on the ball to answer and help when something isn't explained fully. They have also walked us through a few things.

Cons:

All contracts have had to be made off site and uploaded by you as the cost to have them integrated is a bit extreme considering. The acct. status for each customer was something I had to get use to. Learning that somethings mean the same thing but in different ways, is a little confusing when setting up customers or reading reports.

PestPac was what I used at a previous company and what I was used to. We took the risks of using FieldRoutes when we started our own company because as it was explained, it hit each mark that we were wanting at the time.

There is really not anything I don't care for. Sometimes the program freezes, but I usually attribute that to internet connection.

Not Workflow Reliable

We have invested a lot of time building workarounds because we rely on FieldRoutes heavily. However, these limitations are creating extra administrative work, slowing down reporting, and making it harder to make fast operational decisions. I would appreciate help understanding which of these issues have existing solutions, which are on the product roadmap, and which ones FieldRoutes does not currently plan to support.

The most I can say about FieldRoutes is that it gets the job done as long as we use the workarounds we have built.

Cons:

In general, the biggest frustration is that FieldRoutes is our core operational system, but many of the things we need to run the business well require external tools. We are not trying to overcomplicate our workflow; we are trying to get reliable access to the data and visibility that should support scheduling, dispatching, reporting, customer retention, and technician performance.

Its amazing how fast and easy I can set appointments and do all my scheduling! Its easy to document your note of costumers to help service them better which leads to overall better customer support! Its defiantly better package deal then other providers like pestpac, and most cost efficient too! 10/10 service! I would Highly recommend!

Cons:

I wish their was more tip and tricks to use all its features and shortcut to complete what you need. I now know a lot from using the program!

Scheduling. Allows us to optimize as we scale in a busy sales season. Pulling Reports off of almost any field and the 60% rule

Cons:

Wish widgets where based on contract value and not included 60% rule. Wish there where stock Standard reports. Least thing...I wish each tech has a color assigned to them and it never changed. FYI I love the 60% rule

Platform of the Century!

Overall, my experience with Field Routes has been like no other. I have worked with many scheduling platforms, similar to this, and they have always lacked proficiency. They function and all the tools are there, but it is all so disconnected. Field Routes is not like that, I have said it and I will say it again it scores 10's across the board!

Field Routes is an incredibly efficient and easily navigated platform. You can't help but fall into a very natural pattern of use. With its quick response time, simple yet effective layout, and efficient organization it is the ideal platform.

Cons:

I honestly do not have any complaints other than not getting to use it sooner. It is user friendly, easy to learn, and unlikely to have issues.

It got the job done - probably the best on the market in terms of features and scalability for the price; but not without its issues. They also love to find ways to stick it to you: $.04 per text message sent and received and they MAKE you use their payment processor. It's not terribly priced but they're not giving you any deals or anything.

It's easy to get started and implemented off the bat. It also has virtually all the features you will need for a young to mid-size business. Some advanced features also exist (e.g., multi-unit tracking) which is great.

Cons:

So many bugs in the software lately Pushing out lots of product updates that don't really work They don't tell you when they release new features There are really basic things (such as creating bundle packages) that are impossible to do so you have to get creative to make work-arounds. Poor / terrible sales & marketing related features
