PestRoutes is the best
The team at PestRoutes is the best! I've used several softwares during my time in the industry and I have to say that PestRoutes is the hands down the best. We started using them two years ago and the growth of the system amazes me! The team is always pushing forward and deals with probably their most difficult customer with ease (us at TruForce)! We always have little things we'd like to see and I can't tell you how many beta versions we've had! Don't go anywhere else trust me!

Customer Support is Awful
If they can work out the bugs and actually respond to customers then it would be well worth it. As it is, you will spend time not even being able to use some of the features, wondering when you will be able to use them properly again, with no timeline.
PROSThis product will definitely save time with your scheduling. They have a lot of great features including recurring service planning and automatic reminders.
CONSThere have been bugs that last about 2 weeks at a time 3 different times now, all different problems, and we have only been on this system for 2.5 months. These aren't small glitches either, they are major issues with the system that make parts of it unusable. Customer service is abysmal. They either don't respond or they can't give you any information or workarounds for the problem. The person who actually sold us the product is basically unreachable and never responds. You would think that the company would want to respond to customers when there are issues, but they don't seem to care at all. You get a different customer service rep each time you contact PestRoutes also, no dedicated reps. Extremely frustrating.

Worse Support, Never answer!

CONS"I am a customer of fieldroutes for almost 5 years,the support necer work for me. for that reason, I decided to cancel my subscription, and since then, they have been ignoring me. Now they suddenly contact me and claim that I have to pay some cancellation fees. This is unfair, because the contract clearly states that “This agreement is for an initial 12-month period". I fulfilled that term long ago and there is no mention of any charges for terminating the service after that period.Do not sign anything, I think they are trying to trick you too."

I couldn’t be more pleased
Although I got off to a rocky start the team helping me walked me through and taught me everything thing I needed to know. They are always on hand when I have a question as well. The software is completely comprehensive and easy to adjust to fit my specific needs. I feel like we are growing and profiting from the use of this product

That agreement you sign is the first step towards misery and debt collection.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Despite the fact that the program did not work they hold you to your contract. There is no one who can release you from it despite one manager saying he would. We paid the amount they suggested but got no emails confirming the amount and now they want more. They have now sent us to collection. We went with Gorilla Monkey, easy, quick, and it works!It is one screwed up, disorganized company. They have cost us thousands of dollars more than what we paid them. Use another program, they are advertising a defective product. A Service Titan Company with the bucks to sue you!
PROSThe sales pitch, clear and concise, everything you wanted to hear.
CONSThe whole system is designed by a mad programmer with no thought given to flow and use. The biggest issue is that it does not work even after putting in hours of work and probably hundreds of calls.Thge website that came with the package had the wrong SEC for months, no one takes ownership , everyone works remotely and you fall thru the cracks.

Small business owners, get something that is worth every one of your hard earned dollar!
Great, easy, and appreciate a good software more and more with everyday that we use it.
PROSThe training that the Fieldroutes community provides to make sure we fully understand the software. It took no more than 1 month to integrate from our previous software and be up and running. And even until today, I still have questions and Im learning more new features that make Fieldroutes that much more awesome!
CONSI think what could be more helpful is to make certain features a part of the program, rather than having an extra charge to use it (i.g route optimization).

Good system for complex reports and programs, not so flawless
Overall i like servsuite for its multi-tier program, adds multiple events for each program at predetermined intervals and pricing- but it comes with many many flaws, it has become very frustrating- their effors are great but fixes are very slow and it is impacting out work flow

Fieldroutes review
A+ - best software available for pest control industry - from sales to service
PROSEasy to use, adding customers, subscriptions and scheduling has a nice flow. Customer service is quick, efficient and very pleasant to work with.
CONSHavent come across anything that I dislike yet, probably the most difficult thing so far is there are so many features and options that it makes it difficult on the service side to apply this much info for customer in timely manner.

Good but could be better
It does what we need it to do and more but the negatives just might out-way the pros. But we will continue to use them for now because its really hard to switch.
PROSFieldRoutes offers most everything we need as far as features and capabilities. Even some things we wouldn't necessarily need but find very useful. Overall a good product that makes our job easier.
CONSI know that every software has issues... thats to be expected. But what isn't to be expected is poor customer services when reaching out to support. I have been using them for years and whenever there is an issue, the rep will always blame us until we prove that it is a FieldRoutes issue. It is incredibly frustrating when we are trying to solve a problem that affects our ability to make money and then to have a CSR from FRs say, not in these words but close to it, "you've done something wrong." If we've done something wrong, help us learn how to do it write, don't just point the finger back at us. Very aggravating. Second would be more training available to understand what is offered. We come across things quite a bit that make us thing "I didn't now it could do that." Along with the bad customer service from support, the one thing that will probably drive us away from FR's is the payment processing fees. Even when we weren't with Filed Routes payments, FR's would dictate what Braintree would charge us. There wasn't any ability to negotiate or be competitive. It's been the same experience after we switched to FRs Payments. To be honest, we are highly considering leaving because of how high the fees are. Its getting to be ridiculous but they won't let us go to other payment processors. The billing on this is also very hard to understand because you have to look through a massive invoice and there isn't an easy way to understand what we are being charged and why.

Best Customer Service Ever
It makes things streamlined, and much faster. It is a very professional service which in turn makes us look more professional and we have even paid to have our contract personalized and made into html so it is available on the app. The reports are amazing and really gives us so much information at our fingertips. The whole process from the start until now 6 months late has been wonderful and I truly feel even to this day my hand has been held through the whole journey.
PROS[SENSITIVE CONTENT] was amazing and helped us navigate a the huge change of transferring over our business. This program works wonderfully. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING -- BEST I HAVE EVER DEALTH WITH IN ANY COMPANY. They truly care and follow-up is amazing -- they will talk you through steps and hold your hand throughout not only the beginning, but any bumps along the way. I am blown away by the customer service and with all the reps. They respond so quickly and always do their best to fix the problem and do anything they can. I have called/emailed them so many times, not even with problems, but just to find out how to do something in a better way.
CONSSome of the glitches -- like where some customers were charged over 800 in one month because of a glitch without our knowledge -- have been rough or invoice numbers disappearing or changing to a different number have been touchy. I understand all programs have glitches and Pest Routes has been attentive and helpful in every situation. The only thing is I would suggest when a glitch comes out -- to let everyone know that this is something they could experience so that they can go in and run a report to stay on top of it. If we would have known about the multiple payment glitch we could have run a quick report called "Account with Credits" and we could have seen the multiple charges right away and let the customers know ahead of time - or even refunded them asap.

We now have 10 techs and three office staff -- it allows us to work from home, it organizes everything and gets rid of paper and streamlines our business. We can mail things at the touch of a button and run the best reports to see where we are in regards to AR. We can also mass email all our customers filter it to reach the people we want to -- at the touch of a button. It allows our techs to use an app which they love and makes it easier. The customers have a portal and can see things right away and pictures.

Should I buy FieldRoutes?
It has been good, bad, and even ugly at times. The help desk is usually anything but helpful. I do have a contact who is very approachable and generous with his time which is greatly appreciated. But there aren't tpoo many of him to go around.... If I had one suggestion to FieldRoutes, it would be to get involved from jump with the set-up and implematation of the softeware. Many of us don't know trh w questions toi ask until it is too late! I would encurage buyers to have someone dedicatd to the set-up and implematation. Hours invested up front (by Field Routes and end users) will pay dividends in the form of an overall better user experience, less frustration, and hours --even days--trying to solve seemingly unsolvable problems. If I had it to do over, would I? Given what was on the market then and what I know now, a definite maybe. I would have asked more questions and pushed harder for real answers (less 'sales-speak').
PROSThe single biggest factor driving our decision to go with then PestRoutes, was that it wasn't the "other" software.
CONSData migration was a nightmare.... The diffculty in creating custom service service agreements and implematation thereof, the route optimazation software provides far from optimal routing, and zero explanation of the "Distance Score" so that we can actually use this tool to aid in routing and dispatch. Also, I have a tremandous anmount of difficult extracting data. The "shiny dashboard" and the flood of reporting capabilities that were shown as part of the sales procewss were impressive, to say the least. What is there is much easier to use than the competitor I left. I am frustrated that when I want certain data, the answer is "sorry, can't do that". The initial purchasing process was less than "transparent" and I wasn't educated enough to ask certain questions that would have guided my buying decison.

Complicated and Faulty
Very frustrating. Luckly our direct customer service contact is a genius! Calling in to their normal customer service line is always a waste of time and I find I generally know more about their software than they do. Automatic doesn't exist for ServSuite, if you want something "automatic" to happen in this software, someone has to push a button.
PROSIt keeps track of our customers and their program and payment information. ServSuite Mobile is easier to complete services on than doing it via paper. It stores which chemicals were used and can print them on the work orders that get sent to customers (very handy when we get audited by the state).
CONSWhere to start... Everything about ServSuite is buggy. For instance, if you don't put the address in perfectly, it won't show up in any searches. If you don't click the right buttons in just the right order, you won't get the results you're looking for (or the same results you got the time before). We are constantly sending in issues to our direct customer service contact and they have to look into them and fix them on the back end or send them in for programming to be resolved. Their marketing module doesn't work. Their forms (templates for emails, letters, etc.) are so complicated, clunky, and archaic that we don't even want to use them. Everything is so intertwined with everything else that if they do an update to fix something, it kicks something else out of functionality. We get by, but "Well, it's ServSuite..." is the constant joke in the office when we don't have an explanation for something random that happened. We shouldn't have to find alternate ways to get around something that we pay for in order to run our business, but that's become a daily task for us.

Very happy with FieldRoutes!
Using the software has helped us to streamline our billing and scheduling processes, thereby saving us time and money. We have also been able to improve our customer communications through the software. Highly recommend FieldRoutes.
PROSMost helpful/impactful features: Billing, Scheduling, Reporting Their customer support is phenomenal! Every time I find a glitch or have a question about functionality, the customer support team is right on it. And recently, they have started offering informative webinars dealing with how to use different features and functions of the software.
CONSWe have had problems using API to integrate the software with forms on our website because we don't use FieldRoutes' marketing platform.

I believe ServSuite's is excellent with our Team5 technical team support.
Vast capabilities and generally ease of use. We have a great tech team referred to as, Team5. We are assigned Team5 and work with them whenever we have issues with the software, technical info needed or general questions where to find a report, etc. Team5 have excellent follow through and communication with us. Sometimes issues have to sent to programming and they are vigilant to get back with us along the way till resolution. They are friendly and helpful.
CONSSince the software has a vast ability, we aren't always up to speed on what would help us the most. I just came across an issue and part of the correction was to run a report monthly. We could have saved quite a bit of money if we would have been aware to process this report monthly for a few years now. I am disappointed that we thought the one step we were processing was all we needed to do, but that was not the case. That step does not communicate the final result and a report still needs to be done to handle the final communication piece. Again, that final step caused us to be over charged for a few years. They are working on a solution so when that one step is processed it is final, but not there yet and that does not help the past overcharges to us. We have been with ServSuite for over 13 years.

versatility
I am very happy with it, I started using this program many years ago, early 2000, so about 20 years watching it grow and become a very competitive service.
PROSvery versatile, the learning curve is a bit tough but once you understand how it works it can be a real quality time and money saver. Reports are detailed and help with many aspects of management. scheduling is probably the best component. customer portal and card payments are seamless.
CONSthe mobile application and stability, we have had issues in the field with tablets and the software. support has been good on resolution
