Great product, even better support and service!

I use PBP to quote options for mechanical quotes. I tried a few other software programs over the last decade + and ended up abandoning them in favor or a spreadsheet I customized. I had even considered working with a programmer to develop my own software program but then I found Pricebook - which does 90% of what I was hoping to incorporate.

PROS

PBP is the best software I found for quoting in our trade (and I tried a demo on several). It is a great time saver when providing multiple options to homeowners and they are always moving forward with the addition of more features and using technology. The days of writing a price on the back of a business card are long gone (at least they should be). The best thing about the software is the support from the team. Their response time to resolving any issue or glitch (which will happen from time to time with this type of program) is far superior to any other I have used. The team did an excellant job of set up and are always eager to help when I want to customize features. They really go above and beyond to make my job easier and I have often received callbacks after regular business hours when I'm in a pinch. They understand that my ability to do my job well, in part, depends on their program and support. If everyone I dealt with on a daily basis was on top of things like the Pricebook Plus team, my life would be a lot easier. I can't speak highly enough of their team and would recommend them to anyone...that is, unless it is my direct competitor.

CONS

There are a few things I would like to be able to customize a bit further but I think everyone will have their own preferences and prepare quotes a bit differently. Some of the things I have requested were added to the "wish list" and are now included. I hear others are also in the pipeline with the development team. One features I would like to see high on their list is the ability to "share" install kits from one quote to another collectively instead of individually. Probalby not a big issue if you quote generically but I quote using a materials list to help the install team so that would be a nice feature I hope to see in the near future. I would also like to see the ability to copy a quote so an original could be save and a copy or revision could be altered. I'm sure each individual will have personal preferences and it wouldn't be feasible to have every features every single user desires so no complaints. Pricebook is definitely more customizable than most other options.

Pricebook Usefulness

Awesome !!!! Product we've learned to use widely throughout our customer interaction processes. Customer loves the real time experiences that can be done remotely

PROS

Pricebook has help elevate our sales margins, it allows our customer base great selections of different tiers of products and services we offer. Allows the customer to have a great idea of different price ranges to fit their budgets and efficiency needs. Easy to navigate and add your own margins and options

CONS

None, the program is user friendly, easy to navigate once you've learned what tabs correlate w/ its data
