Overall the field is a great service for donor retention!

PROS

The Field is very easy to use. I set multiple teams up of at least 4 people in each team. I always use oast turf to ensure we don't hit the same spot twice in 3 months. I love that I can set turf up on my iPad/phone. The mapping service we used to use didn't have the option for yes, this does and it's great!

CONS

The features I least like are that you have to use 2 fingers to move the map.

Vendor Response

Hi Cassandra -- thank you for the positive review, and for the suggestion for improvements. We have updated The Field to enable you to move the map with one finger. Feel free to submit any other ideas at https://customers-membershipdrive.force.com/thefield/s/

gets the job done, but could be improved

It's usable, but the negatives waste time or are frustrating (especially the two-finger map use).

PROS

Different pages (time and stats, field route...) are organized well and it's easy to find what I'm looking for.

CONS

Two-fingers needed for map. cannot delete pins. Sometimes I need to enter the address myself, and the pin will show as being at a different address. It may be labeled with the right address, or both the correct address and the original address it had for the pin. "Upgrades" should have their own color, rather than being yellow like "to canvass" pins. The map page only showed the dollar value of donations, not number of yesses. In order to see number of yesses, I'd need to go to a sepatate tab (time and stats). Any time I create a new house on the map, the map itself should stay oriented exactly how I had it before creating the house. Instead, it moves, causing me to re-orient the map.

Vendor Response

Hi Eitan -- thanks for the feedback. Since you left your review, we've updated The Field route to be movable with one, not two, fingers. Because the UI is completely in your company's control (i.e. data you see, marker color), we've talked to your company about how they can show "Upgrades" with different colored pins and about changing the statistics, such as number of yeses, that you see. This also is all in their control to give you the information you need to succeed. Thanks for your other ideas as well. Your feedback helps us make The Field even better.

PROS

It’s good and easy to use. I’m able to track where I am

CONS

It can get pretty frizzy sometimes. It blanks out and stops working for some reason

Vendor Response

Hi Nicholas - thank you for the review. We investigated the issue of the map blanking out sometimes, and found that it was from your Admin deleting your team on those days, which deleted your route. We plan to change this functionality so that, even when your manager deletes your team, they need to take an additional step to delete your route so that this doesn't happen again. Watch for this update within two weeks. If you have other ideas for improvement, feel free to submit them at https://customers-membershipdrive.force.com/thefield/s/. Thanks again for the feedback.
