Every new file version saved on the DropSecure platform automatically regenerates a fresh encryption key. Your download links are protected at all times—for registered and unregistered users alike. Every recipient is verified before allowing access to download the files via 2-Factor Authentication. DropSecure uses ‘public key cryptography’ to protect assets for registered users. Each registered user receives a pair of public and private keys. Data sent to a registered user is always encrypted using their public key. DropSecure is accessible by most of the customers we are dealing with. No incentive was offered From signing up to receiving documents , it took us under 10 minutes. Its great that we can customize it to our branding. With 2FA feature on all user logins, folder creation, activity monitoring and easy user interface , it was a no-brainer. I believe the more we use this software , we will end up with a "wish list" which we will communicate with DropSecure account management team. #### Reasons for choosing DropSecure In Australia, laws prohibit exchange of personally identified information over email. Tax File Numbers specifically and other ID's. Being a tax firm and recently introduced stricter laws, we needed something simple, cost effective , secure and easy to use. DropSecure checked those boxes. #### Reasons for switching to DropSecure Ease of use and pricing. We wanted clients to use it. We did not want clients to see 3-4 different screens, create accounts etc. just to upload one single document! DropSecure is simple yet powerful. No incentive was offered After having signed up and filled in my company details too, I got an invoice issued to my own name (not the company). This started a problem that is apparently unsolveable. I wrote multiple polite emails both on chat and in email to ask for a corrected invoice for my company name. In the beginning, they replied. After having chatted with them, they asked me to write the same in email (why is there a chat then??). I wrote an email, they sent a link to some kind of an issue tracker website where I could not log in, my normal credentials did not work, password reset did not work, I'm pretty sure I didn't even have access to that issue tracker. I asked about this in email, never got any reply. Then I sent another inquiry, again, no reply at all. I STILL NEED A CORRECT INVOICE for legal compliance! Chatting is useless, also I'm now ignored in emails too, though up until recently I was patient and polite. Enough of that. While the service might be good technically (or not, actually, we cannot tell as there are no 3rd party assessments available), this level of incapable and/or unwilling customer service is totally unacceptable. No incentive was offered The customer service is amazing. Although the chat said someone would get back to me within 48 hours someone got back to me within one minute the first time I needed help. The second time was late on a Sunday night and I got a response within 2 minutes. Providing them a secure link to upload their information is critically important . Drop secure provides a link and then notifies me when my clients have uploaded their documents. #### Cons I was hoping to rename documents but that feature is not yet available. #### Reasons for switching to DropSecure It didn't feel secure to me. As of this writing, I have to argue that this is the BEST I have ever laid my hands on. I have used expensive tools/applications for transferring files back and forth between my company and clients. DropSecure is amazingly easy to set up, easy to use, easy for the recipient to download their file and most importantly, very affordable. I have not needed a lot of tech support, but the 2 or 3 times I reached out, I was met with nothing but pleasant people willing to go the extra mile to make sure you got all the help you needed. It is worth noting that DropSecure is so easy that chances of needing tech support are very minimal. #### Cons There is nothing not to like about DropSecure. I use my URL on a daily basis, and changing the URL from my old name to my new name would cause the old link to break and no longer work. I submitted a support ticket to see if there'd be a way to create a new URL and allow the old link to continue to work. Their engineering team quickly worked on a solution. Not requiring a log in has really increased the number of documents we are able to successfully collect. #### Cons I think that not having a system of cataloguing by name, e-mail, etc., makes it hard to refer back to something received previously, but I think for the price that would honestly be too much to ask. #### Reasons for switching to DropSecure We ended our contract with Blackboard student services and therefore lost this functionality but needed to be able to securely receive documents.
