A testimonial for Polonious
I am a senior level manager in a nationwide investigations company and have been the designated point person/program manager during rollout and implementation of the web-based application Polonious. As most firms, all of our employees/investigators are spread out across the nation. In order to operate efficiently and in accordance with today’s security requirements, we made the move to Polonious at the beginning of 2019 and are 7 months into use. We found that the implementation/transition into operation was efficient and smooth. Our staff took to it like second nature because for the most part, how you would think a certain function operates is, indeed, the way that it operates. It is very user friendly and was easy to manipulate and tailor to our company’s needs. Our investigators learned and began operating in it without very little training or in-service. We are just now beginning to realize the potential that the software has and have begun realizing direct benefits, such as real-time operation. We are no longer bound to the need for large office space with mounds of space for paperwork and reports and video storage and it has allowed us to cut our brick and mortar overhead tremendously. Everything we do from intake to invoicing, financial reporting and beyond is now all housed in one place that easily accessed by our managers and field personnel alike. We are now able to on-board new personnel and have them set up with caseloads that they access immediately, allowing us

Great ideas, but then...
- Implementing the FRISS check for our business lines has been a struggle: business ending up in privite, bad coding, no detailed designs, many bugs, a monstrosity called the QISWrapper... - Another thing is that I understood that Keylane and FRISS started discussing a new draft for the entire Architecture. The client a.s.r. was not invited to take part. - it is a hassle to retrieve the xml-messages that FRISS receives and sends out. This makes analysis extremely difficult
PROSI think that at the most conceptual level FRISS provides a useful service.
CONSArchitecture of the solution: a.s.r. wants to check both private individuals and business customers. The FRISS platfrom offered limited functionality for this in our set up.

Good Investigations Software Case Managment
I have used several different case management programs. I would say Pims falls in the middle of the pack.
PROSThe program is easy to navigate and has a fluid response. Everything is easy to find and cases are easy to setup.
CONSI do find some cases disappear for some reason when they are no complete.

PROSEenvoudige tool, overzichtelijk en maakt in 1x verbinding met meerdere datapartijen.
CONSKennis bij FRISS over de inrichting van de beslisregels. Dat zijn er meer dan 1000 en vrij complex. Binnen FRISS is de kennis over waarom de klant in het verleden bepaalde keuzes heeft gemaakt niet altijd aanwezig en dat zou ik wel verwachten.
