Around 4 years I am very happy. Bu due to changed price policy Fortigate, I will advise our customer chose other VPN software to work remotely.

Very easy to implement and VPN client access was free up to 10 000 users.

About upgrade the system, I mean upgrading the firmware by means online around one year, not success. The offline update was succeeded which was very disappointing.

Fortigate perform very well and provide very good protection compared with other devices.

Fortiguard updates are excellent and the device is easy to use.

Some models that are not EOL are not getting OS updates with no explanation. If the product is not EOL it should get updates no excuses! In 2023 some of thelocal services have had a number of nasty vulnerabilities, coding should be better and protection of local services should be enhanced.

It is exceptional. For the enterprise space, there is nothing better.

FortiGate is THE enterprise solution. It has all the features that you would possibly want and more.

The price and the deployment. It is not a simple solution by any stretch. The price is worth it for the features, but if you are not at the level then rather look elsewhere.

You are able to integrate it with you Active Directory and create different group of users who can access different sites that is you can create a group who have access to Youtube and other Social media sites and create another group who have no access to thee sites but can access other sites. If updates are made frequently, your performance and security will also reduce the vulnerability to zero. Thanks to the hundreds of features included in the software, you can perform compression and end-to-end security without any problems.

First of all, they have a very different structure from standard firewalls. Especially in a 500-user structure, the delays were due to the firewall's constant data control and applications to parse its content. Thanks to the developing Fortigate Next Generation Firewall systems, the internal structure and controls of the data are now controlled and analyzed much faster. Controls of data behavior and attacks are controlled faster, minimizing possible delays and performance losses.VPN control, IDS, IPS blocking, malicious content control, bandwidth application and control, content filtering can be managed from a single point in a single UTM device.

The best Firewall in the market are UTM devices. In case of lack of configuration or making mistakes in the application, you will definitely experience problems. Therefore, I recommend that you make the recommended settings and configurations in the device setup.

I have had a good experience, I have been working on the product for 10 years and without a doubt this product has improved a lot, for that reason I am preparing for the ns4 exam, and we have had 60 installations of this product on different models

what I like the most about this product is the interface and the easy improvement of the different functions

I have had some bob in some versions and I have had to do an update.

- no support for multiple languages- difficult communication with support- long waiting time for delivery (applies to Poland)

I can't complain, it works well, the support is excellent and updates are easy to set up.

It is easy to use, has a low learning curve, backups and restores are not complicated, the policy editor is great and it has a low profile on the DC.

It's limited by default, you want more log analysis? Get another product from Fortinet, wish to manage mail? Well, that's another product. Other solutions offer better visibility of application stacks.

The GUI is easy to use and the power you get in the FW is one of the best.Rich in features.

There is no auto-arrangement of policies based on how specific a policy is.

I've been using FortiGate for 6 years now and compared to other vendors we had been working with for decades. We found this brand to be the best solution in terms of performance, security and ease of management. Please note: we often hear that FortiGate may be poor in the face of too many vulnerabilities being published. Maybe instead because other vendors keep it more under wraps? From my perspective, FortiGate has always been a transparent vendor. Think of it that in some cases even EoS appliances have been included within the vulnerability patching program.

The strengths are the software with which it was developed and the hardware on which it was engineered. The combination of these two elements allows for simplified managament and proof of performance and security at high levels. Another valuable note is the documentation: well done.

Service support is not always at levels like other top vendors.

Overall, I can't say enough good things about the FortiGate. The documentation is from Fortinet is good enough that you can typically find instructions for whatever you're looking to enable or configure. Additionally, the SSP VPN has been more stable and reliable than our old VPN.

We are making use of most of the FortiGate's features including the IPS, DNS Filter, Web Filter, DLP, and the SSL VPN. Fortinet offers good tools like the FortiAuthenticator and FortiClient EMS that integrate with the FortiGate.

We have run into high memory usage and conserve mode a couple times. Sometimes Fortinet will release a new firmware, and once we upgrade, we will start running into memory leak issues.

I have it implemented in my corporate network, it is a very complete device, its functionalities and characteristics make it very complete. For me, it is the most complete on the market in terms of firewall.
