Its also very appealing to look at Cons: Sometimes if there is a glitch people struggle to book sessions but it rarely happens. Customers sighed a sigh of relief when I ditched it. Ratings Breakdown 2 Ease of use 5 Value for money 2 Customer support 3 Functionality Pros: It was cheap. The support initially was useful. It allowed class swaps which at the time my existing software didn’t. Cons: I swapped to different software after a few years as I got complaints on a weekly basis about gymcatch. I spent time with the team at gymcatch going through my account to see if there was a way to simplify, or if I’d made a mistake setting things up, but Gymcatch said I had everything set up the way it should be. It caused me constant weekly problems and was a time suck, and I realised I was losing new trade; new customers gave up trying to book with Gymcatch. In general, my customers disliked Gymcatch and moving software has been a great decision for the business. Within 3 months of leaving Gymcatch and moving to TeamUp, all the spaces in my classes are now filled, so taking the risk of a more expensive software has paid for itself several times over already. Unless you have a very small and simple business, I would suggest steering clear of Gymcatch. I think trying to save money with cheap software cost me money in the long term. Reasons for choosing Gymcatch Because it would allow class swaps. (At the time, bookwhen didn’t have swap facility. They do now. In general, I would recommend Bookwhen over Gymcatch for customer ease of use). Reasons for switching to Gymcatch A recommendation from a mentor. I now would not recommend Gymcatch after using it for a few years. Having reviewed what correspondence was raised (especially given timings), it looks as if the use of the Private Access facility (gating who can see sessions to book), was likely the issue and one that either through configuration or communication to you we could / should have resolved. It does everything I want it to do. Book clients in for classes and you can use a form to ask parq questions and consent before the class. My clients like using it as well and say it’s easy to book onto classes and log on to see what they have booked. Cons: It is a little expensive considering I only use it for 1 class a week and if you add on lots of extras it makes it even more.
