Jackrabbit is Awesome!

My overall experience has been great. I especially like how they have webinars on how to use different parts of Jackrabbit such as running tuition, using the event calendar, recitals, etc. They also take peoples feedback/ideas and are constantly updating and making the program better.

Jackrabbit is very easy to use and navigate. I also like the support and help center. They also have web/YouTube modules on how to use it. Its great starting part when we have new employees come in.

Cons:

Sometimes it does glitch and goes down but the Jackrabbit Facebook page lets everyone know.

Everything in one pace! The new dashboard is so much more user friendly. The All Classes, All Families, and All Students grids are used my me EVERY DAY. So many fields can be filtered to display EXACTLY what you need. Then one click to email/text/push notify the filtered list!

Cons:

We have not found a good way to make private lessons work for our gym, even using the new appointments feature. We make it work with Events, but there are so many steps involved to make the process work for us.

I created the database we were using when I was a high school student. It served us well when we were smaller, but as we grew and had the need for accepting credit card payments and doing online registrations we needed something more robust.

Pros:

Jackrabbit allows us to track students' attendance, create a store and sell items through client accounts, keep track of staff hours/classes. I like that there are different ways to get help with an issue - email, live chat and phone and they answer fairly quickly. Also, the ability to add an idea which gets voted on by other uses and then is implemented to the system is great! I also like that I have the ability to limit access to certain users.

Cons:

There is very little I don't like about Jackrabbit. Whenever I do have an issue, Jackrabbit is quick to help.

Really responsive to help inquiries, love that you send out newsletters/webinars and add features proactively, thank you for increasing PAD limit to $3000!

Cons:

Need more improvements to the new Camps (there were issues with getting athlete enrollments and reports for this are really basic), the payment surcharge feature was difficult to switch over to since we lost payment information (it was costly to save it).

It is very user friendly and the help chat rooms or calls have been very helpful.

Cons:

It is confusing the billing options as I always get charged for a high volume of memberships when I actually only have 100. Its hard to set it up where families register for something, yet don't get counted as a member taking classes. I often have a one time user (open gym or clinic) and then they do not continue. I don't feel I should be paying for them as members. I understand I have to go in and archive these families but that is time consuming to do all the time and then some want to return and can't because I archived them.

Cons:

I wish I had more authority to create reports, more options to adjust reports. I would like the ability to create reports with specific information that I need, not just prefilled templates.

I find jackrabbit pretty simple to use once you get the hang of it. Some stuff have a lot of steps to them (like skill charts) but I feel like most softwares are like that.

Customer service is quick to respond to issues. I like the help guide as well!

Cons:

I think trials are a little bit difficult and making sure they pay the right amount when they sign up on their own. I also wish it were easier to just see how many trials you have on the dashboard. I also wish setting up skill charts were easier.

It takes some time clicking around to figure out the program but overall it does everything you need it to do.

There are tons of reports, and tracking everything you do on each account is easy.

Cons:

There are 101 ways to do the same thing. I think the transaction tab can be tricky. I wish you could edit kids' enrollment dates, etc., without having to drop them and start over. I also would like notes from deleted waitlists to be saved instead of having to go in and make a separate note.
