TrainHeroic was great! If they had a membership platform that also integrated a website I would have stayed with them. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Simple to program individual exercises and tracking different sets and weights. They have a large library of movements but also the ability to quickly add your own. #### Cons The only thing I didn’t like was they did not have a “rounds + reps” option to record Metcon-style workouts. Members had to do math and record their session with total reps which was a little time consuming and required more effort than my members wanted after a tough workout. --- ### Simple and clean user interface. - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: less than 1 year · daily - Reviewed: August 2025 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered I had a nice experience with TrainHeroic. The platform was clean and simple, giving me increased confidence off-the-bat to properly use the platform. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros I needed a platform to deliver and use training programs for exercise and TrainHeroic did this well. The user interface was clean and simple. #### Cons This is difficult because it wasn't that TrainHeroic had an issue, but the con is that I could not figure out a great way to integrate the platform with my EHR program for clinical rehab. --- ### Great option for teams and clients - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Aaron Z. - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: 3-5 years · daily - Reviewed: December 2021 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. Great for just workouts but if you are looking to manage clients, charge for sessions and grow the business side of your training it can be cumbersome with this platform. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros The workout set-up is clean and easy to follow and create. Programming can be made relatively easy after getting used to the platform and planning process. #### Cons The platform itself is limited to just exercise and workouts and lacks direct communication to multiple groups and clients. There is a work around but it is bulky. The platform also has limitations by not being able to create resources like PDFs to include in programming. --- ### An Honest Review from a Real Trainer - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: 3-5 years · weekly - Reviewed: August 2022 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. Awesome customer service, easy on boarding. This is the app to use if you take payments through 3rd party and just want to deliver programming to your clients. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The client facing app is 10/10. If you're coaching in GROUPS, this is the app for you #### Cons The payment features for individual sales/clients needs to be here. The group/marketplace payments are great, but for a true independent trainer OR facility business owner, the ability to take take payments through the online interface is HUGE. --- ### Great Training app - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: 3-5 years · daily - Reviewed: February 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. Great experience, perfect for all pts and for those who run gyms or have coaching programs. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Best training only app on the market, very easy to use. Looks great, and performs well. 100's of clients over 3+ years loved it too #### Cons Wish it had more outside features e.g being able to upload before/after photos, store clients data, have a nutrition function etc --- ### Great for teams - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: less than 1 year · daily - Reviewed: January 2024 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Very good overall. It is simple to use but has a lot of programming features. Especially the reps/ sets for volume programs #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros I liked being able to share multiple workouts with groups and have a community around this group #### Cons Personal clients cannot comment back and forth with the coach on workouts or send videos/ pictures for review. Not as big of a library as other apps, pricing jumps by the 50's so you either must have a small or large audience. --- ### Train Heroic in COVID - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: less than 1 year · daily - Reviewed: November 2020 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 3/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros I like that it is very easy to use, once you know the software and the rules that accompany it I like the new features that I have a coaches home page, so I do not have to go searching for a specific athletes, if they are due for an update on their calendar then it will be there. It is easy to copy and paste certain super sets/ straight sets #### Cons The software does not work well with Apple devices, it has been a conscious across our whole team that it takes a very long time to complete tasks because of the lag on the program. So sometimes it takes a while in order to complete one program due to the waiting around --- ### Honest review. - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: less than 1 year · a few times a year - Reviewed: June 2021 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Went well. If it had nutrition I’d go back in a heartbeat #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 3/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 2/5 #### Pros Developing programming for classes, individual, and teams #### Cons Missing nutrition aspect. I wish you could also program AMRAPs and emom --- Showing 1 - 8 of 8 Reviews ## Other Top Recommended Fitness Software [Wix](https://www.softwareadvice.com/crm/wix-profile/) **4.4** (10818) Recently recommended **0** times [Acuity Scheduling](https://www.softwareadvice.com/medical/acuity-profile/) **4.8** (5774) Recently recommended **0** times [Vagaro](https://www.softwareadvice.com/medical/vagaro-profile/) **4.7** (3684) Recently recommended **0** times [My PT Hub](https://www.softwareadvice.com/coaching/my-pt-hub-profile/) **4.6** (3206) Recently recommended **0** times Stuck Between Options?
