Walla saved, improved and rejuvenated our studio... and our enthusiasm for running it.

Efficiency and Sanity. Everything in Walla has made running the studio more efficient, which in turn has offloaded a TON of stress from me personally. I was literally on the verge of throwing in the towel (mid pandemic) when we decided to make the switch to Walla. My zest for this business was renewed by diving into and loving Walla. On top of that... it was so much more simple and efficient than I'd known was possible. Simplicity, Clarity and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] client services. I've loved all their people too!

PROS

The entire platform is clear and simple, easy to read and navigate. For everyone involved... the teachers love it, the clients love and admin (me) loves it. We are 100% more effective on all levels because of the big picture we get from this platform.

CONS

The mail platform hasn't been as easy for me as I'd hoped. We've tried a couple different things and Walla has been extremely helpful in trying to make this smoother for us. They've gone above and beyond to help create ways to make this better.

Reason for choosing Walla

All the reviews in the FB Studio Owner Groups... indicated that all these other platforms had problems in their own way. None of them felt like the right place to take a chance. In [SENSITIVE CONTENT] interview on a podcast, it was clear that she had been in my shoes, felt my pain and struggle as a teacher/studio owner. I just knew she 'got it'.

Reasons for switching to Walla

I had discovered Walla and just felt the pull. We'd been dissatisfied with multiple things over the years, but never felt like there was a better option.

Walla is the BEST Yoga Studio Software and Increased Our Profitability!

PROS

We absolutely love using Walla's "Online Booking" for our yoga studio. It's got a great look and feel that we and our clients really enjoy. What's best about Walla is how reliable and easy it is to use. We've noticed our clients are super happy too, because they never have any problems with the software. This is a big change from the old software we used, where our clients kept running into issues. Switching to Walla has made things so much smoother for us and has helped our studio grow more than we ever realized was possible. Plus, features like the easy-to-understand Membership Reports and the cool 'buddy pass' system have made a huge difference in making everything run like a dream. Walla has so many unique features and capabilities that you won't find with other software systems. They're the best at keeping clients on your website and not pulling them off to the booking software. We love it!

CONS

Walla is a newer company so it might lack a few features compared to the biggest competitor out there, but we don't mind because it's so much more reliable and looks better than any other software available.

Reasons for switching to Walla

WellnessLiving isn't user-friendly. We had so many client complaints. It was also constantly experience glitches and issues with the Amazon servers.

The refresh we needed

The support team made sure that all of our concerns were heard and prioritized. It's a lot to migrate from a previous software that contains 9 years of client data. Although the transition was a little rocky (as any software change would be), they stuck by our side through and through and continue to take requests for improvement. We love working with the Walla team.

PROS

Walla's user friendly (and beautiful) interface allows for simplified training and less manual intervention with clients.

CONS

The plan management needs improvement, including associated visits, booking procedures and clarity of expiration dates.

Price change. Outdated interface and technology.

Booking software that actually operates the way you need it to

Walla has acted more like a business partner than just a software provider ever since I signed on with them. Their customer service goes above and beyond every time, and they are very receptive to feature requests. In the few months we have been using Walla, they have implemented many of our requests—it just keeps getting better every day! I feel supported, respected, and championed by the team at Walla

PROS

Walla is a dream to work with. The intuitive, fast, and responsive interface was easy for everyone on my team to adopt. Our students love the App--especially the ability to easily bring guests with them to class using the built-in Guest Pass feature. The automatic late cancel / no show penalties bring in enough revenue to cover the expense of the software with the added bonus of training our students to have good class registration habits!

CONS

Walla does not have the level of reporting that Mindbody has, so there are times I feel like I'm only seeing the tip of the iceberg of details of my business when sometimes I want to dig in and get the nitty gritty.

The Hybrid Studio support, the ability to offer credit-based pricing, and the beautiful user interface.

Reasons for switching to Walla

Mindbody is no longer in the business of supporting yoga studios. They are in the business of building their own membership base by selling directly to the customers of the studios, gyms, and other small businesses they serve. They have eliminated almost all customer service access making it next to impossible to get help with problems. The software is antiquated and glitchy. And in the meantime, their pricing just keeps going up, up, up.

Game Changer!

Walla is a game changer for us. We no longer worry about our software or feel like we need to apologize to our clients for the clunkiness of the software. This software has been well thought out, beautifully executed, and is carefully nurtured. We are happy to be a part of the beginnings of this software that we know will be number one in our industry. Our onboarding experience was a complete breeze, the team made everything so easy and so transparent. I'm very grateful for finding and diving into Walla!

PROS

Walla is intuitive and simple, yet incredibly powerful. Our students can register with an ease we have never experienced at our studio, we rarely have client issues logging in or creating accounts. This is first and foremost important to us. The reporting is unbelievably amazing and one of my favorite features. What used to take me HOURS to manually compile in two other softwares is INSTANT in Walla. Having access to these metrics so easily is a game changer for our business. We can keep track of KPIS without spending hours manually compiling stats. We are able to give our staff real numbers to rate their performance and we are able to focus on what matters the most. The automated campaigns, especially the new student one, are incredibly amazing in securing long term business.

CONS

I love everything about Walla! The only things I have to say are simple feature suggestions that I think as an owner would be nice to have within the already amazing software such as a marketing suite (newsletter creation) and being able to have students automatically see enrollments in the Walla app.

Reason for choosing Walla

Walla had a few features that the alternative product did not have at the time that really streamlined administrative work. Walla's reporting also is like no other product.

Reasons for switching to Walla

Prior to our switch to Wellnessliving we were with Mindbody. We switched from Mindbody to Wellness Living because our costs kept increasing and the software was not improving. We ended up switching from Wellness Living to Walla for many reasons. Primarily we found the software to be unreliable. Our first week with Wellness Living there was an outage and we lost 2 days of virtual yoga (at the time we were still only virtual). This would happen almost quarterly. Our app was incredibly glitchy and our students complained about the difficulty of using the software and registering. Ultimately we needed something that we felt 100% confident was reliable.
