It's alot to implement up front but it's worth it because out communication and awareness of spending in the company has improved majorly. With this app, we are finally able to justify hiring a full time heavy truck mechanic. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Fleetio has been extremely easy to learn and implement. The learning curve was honestly minimal for our team. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense, and even our truck drivers picked it up quickly without needing constant help. We really appreciate how strong the maintenance and inspections features are. Our mechanics are hesitant about apps, but they are right into it. For a company running trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, having everything organized in one place feels like a lifesaver, especially since we were flying blind before. Security-wise, we have never had a concern, the system feels stable, safe, and professional. Overall, the value for money is solid. It does exactly what it says it does and saves us all time. #### Cons Nothing major. We’ve run into a couple very small bugs and issues here and there, but nothing that slowed us down or made the software unusable. They were more small quirks than real problems, and they get sorted quickly. You just had to restart the app or the phone. #### Reasons for choosing Fleetio Arbostar just wasn't a smooth experience. Jobber doesn't have enough features. Fleetio is nice because it specializes in fleet management and inventory. #### Vendor response Thank you so much for the review, Breanna! I like being able to customize fleetio to see the information that is important to me and the job I am doing. I like the service reminder system and how I can customize the services and intervals. #### Cons The P.O. system still doesn't have a reminder for not being closed. I have had P.O.'s set open for more than a month and did not know it. I would like to have FleetioGo flash a warning when a bus is taken out of service in an inspection. I would also like to remove Service Tasks altogether and just use the VMRS codes. #### Reasons for choosing Fleetio The customization and flexibility. It helps fleets reduce downtime and stay compliant. Also the reporting side of Fleetio is very helpful and gives important analytics. #### Cons Some workflows seem locked in and are nit fully customizable where you can make the report to your personal liking. The one area where we've run into difficulty is the telematics integration with our GPS provider, which has not consistently synced data the way it was advertised. Rather than jumping between multiple systems or digging through spreadsheets, everything I need — from vehicle records and maintenance history to inspections and service reminders — is readily accessible in one place. The platform is also remarkably user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that doesn't require extensive training to navigate. Whether I'm pulling up a vehicle's service history or logging a new work order, the experience is straightforward and efficient. Fleetio has genuinely streamlined our day-to-day fleet operations in a meaningful way. #### Cons My biggest frustration with Fleetio has been the telematics integration with our GPS provider, One Step GPS. When we evaluated Fleetio, the seamless syncing of telematics data was presented as a key feature and a major selling point of the integration. Unfortunately, in practice, it has not functioned as advertised. GPS and telematics data from One Step GPS does not reliably update within Fleetio, which undermines one of the core benefits we were expecting from the platform.
