Pros/Cons
Pros
- The price is affordable and below other competitors prices for product of its kind. I've been a user of KeepTruckin for over 3 years and I am satisfied.
- Almost seamless in operation with great support from the support staff. The PDF logs are great for tax reporting and everything I need is available while driving.
- I love that I can send the customer a link and let them know exactly where the driver is. I love the ability to get a response or a copy of a needed video rather quickly.
Cons
- The problems we faced were similar to any other driver. HOS problems, keeping track of freight , maintenance on the vehicles.
- Drawing reports can be complicated and clunky. In particular selecting date values is irritating.
- This company is being very unfair to their clients. We end up buying two systems (ELDs) for same truck just because of their system limitations and they will not refund for the extra system.
Pros
- Our experience has been good and we feel that this has made a big difference within our organization for driving safer and just being able to keep track of our vehicles when we need to.
- I love the ease of use and the ability to set up reports that relate to my business.
- Their customer service, the products and features and the overall price are great. Honestly after reviewing 3 or 4 competitors this is the best option.
Cons
- I do not like that when your system has an update, that the previous version does not work correctly. The laws did not change, so I am not sure why the system does not work.
- It was ultimately not usable because it exposed our company to risks of being unable to meet federal ELD mandates due to its regular failures.
- They have called me a liar, threatened to report me to a credit agency, when they continue to steal my money every month. Taking from my checking account.
