About Rhino Fleet Tracking

Rhino Fleet Tracking is a cloud-based fleet tracking solution suitable for trucking businesses of all sizes. The platform also offers fleet maintenance tools and is compatible with desktop and mobile devices.

Rhino Fleet Tracking utilizes GPS trackers to monitor vehicle locations and displays routes in real time via Google Maps. HOS and ELog integrations help users determine how long drivers have been on the road, which helps maintain FCMSA requirements. Feedback can also be sent to a driver’s monitoring device. The solution is compatible with OBD II or installed devices.

Vehicle maintenance features send users alerts when a vehicle is due for specific services, and notifications can be sent via email or text message. Rhino Fleet Tracking also offers a library of standard reports, as well as IFTA reports. Support is available via email, over the phone and via text message. Pricing is per month.

Rhino 's tracks like a bird dog

Gtkm the firstcday we purchased Rhino tracking. There has not been a question asked by our retailers about where there merchsndise is. And honestly it right on time everytime with Rhino Tracking

Its plug and play where you dont have to train your guys to use it. Its so simple and fool proof. That you never miss s beat and you can see your trucks arrival in real time down to the location within a few yards. Thank you Rhino tracking

Cons:

Hknestrly there was nothing i difnt like sbout it ftom ordring through there customers service reps to installing there was never a question to what to do or how to use it. who i choose to ride with my fleet. And its Rhino tracking

Organization and efficiency in one program

Overall it was great the customer support was professional efficient and answered all my questions and was able to talk to someone immediately.

Pros:

What I like most about the Rhino Fleet tracking is the organization of the program. When it comes to being efficient organization is one of the most important things. When you are overseeing a fleet of trucks delivery it's important to be efficient organized and able to respond accordingly to needs of not only customers and stores but the driver as well.

Cons:

What did I like least about the tracking? There were times when there would be a slight delay and the felt could have been streamlined or in a sense shortened that was the only thing I liked least about the product.

Reasons for switching to Rhino Fleet Tracking

Did not meet the current needs in my company that were important for progressing in the industry

Disappointed and cancelled service after just a few weeks

The whole thing was an abject failure. We cancelled the service and will be sending all hardware back.

Pros:

Unfortunately there were no aspects of our experience that met this "like" criteria. The initial sales conversations were great. We believed we were getting a solid platform for our asset management solution. I believe the base GPS tracking is functional and it did provide the fundamental data.

Cons:

No clear expectations were communicated. After sale communications and support was some of the worse ever experienced. Units were to be configured and were not. 3 of 4 provided battery powered units never did work. Wiring was sketchy and we were not informed that the wiring harnesses were taped together "as a guide". The iButton key fob serial numbers were also pre-populated incorrectly. Driver IDs were never reported in most areas. Issues were never resolved in a timely fashion and Rhino didn't initiate communication regarding status, we always had to contact them to find out what was going on. When we said we would terminate service there was no hesitation or offer from sales, support or their Director of Operations regarding possible remediation, just - OK send it all back.

Reasons for choosing Rhino Fleet Tracking

No contract and reasonable monthly service fee and some DOT reporting.

- Sometimes loose gps and cellular network - not easy to setup - can be expensive for large fleet

Rhino Fleet Tracking, easy monitoring and long-term money saver

The ap offering robust reporting and analytical tools was greatly helpful to us. We wee able to monitor vehicle performance, track fuel consumption, and identify trends that can help save time and money.

The Rhino Fleet Tracking app is a highly efficient and user-friendly tool designed to streamline fleet management. I really enjoyed the intuitive interface making it simpler to navigate and track, even if users are not tech-savvy.

Cons:

I honestly couldn't find anything missing from my user side. There may be others who would say different but from a dispatch point of view it was very comprehensive and easy to use.

LOVE me so Rhino Fleet Tracking!! We have a fleet of 8 Removal Vans for our Mortuary, & Rhino Fleet Tracking makes it super simple & easy to keep track of our fleet for various reasons!!

Cons:

I really enjoy all the functions & features Rhino Fleet Tracking has to offer!! I have yet to experience any hiccups to date, fingers crossed!!

Recommend Rhino Fleet Tracking

I have had a great experience with Rhino fleet tracking. It helps us accuratley track where our technicians are in the field and be able to know exactly how long they are on jobs for as well as driver safety. The pricing is great as well.

Easy to use to track our fleet of trucks. It has all the tools we need to help our dispatchers map out daily routes, driver behavior and history.

Cons:

Sometimes it takes awhile to load when switching pages.

Easy to use. Straightforward.

Cons:

Would like to be able to send a daily (or weekly) report to other managers. These managers do not want to log into the system, they just want an over view of the daily log sent to them.
