About Timeero

Timeero is a time tracking application that enables professional services, staffing, agriculture, property and other businesses to schedule and track on-field employees. It comes with a GPS-enabled time clock, which lets mobile teams quickly clock in/out, leave notes for office staff, interchange jobs with colleagues and track mileage for each task.

Key features of Timeero include job costing, geofencing, employee scheduling, timesheet management and push notifications. The cloud-based solution lets businesses set up separate geofences for different jobs to receive alerts if employees clock in/out outside defined virtual perimeters. Additionally, HR departments can utilize approval workflows to maintain employee attendance and payroll records, ensuring compliance with DCAA and DOL regulations.

Timeero facilitates integration with QuickBooks, allowing businesses to map jobs and sync changes across systems. Pricing is available on monthly and annual subscriptions and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Good Customer Support Online

For this review, I needed some online chat support regarding adding a new employee. Katleyn and Tyler did a great job. They quickly and clearly answered my questions so that I could make the right decision on how to move forward.

Pros:
It's super easy to use, keeps solid track of my employee's time and mileage if necessary. The reports can be downloaded to excel and then easily managed.
Cons:
Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to convince a new employee we aren't tracking them all over the place. It would be nice if there was some type of support statement Timeero provided to the new employee at the time of signing up that as long as they log out, their location tracking is dismantled.

Timeero - good product easy to use

Overall good experience. I tried to vet a few different companies. We ultimately went with Timeero because of the customer service and direct interactions when signing up, as well as value to product cost. We've been happy and keep sticking with them!

Pros:
Value for money, great customer support. Ashleigh helped me recently. It is easy to use and I like the mileage tracking features.
Cons:
Some of the reporting features aren't fully functional. It is easy to use but built more for contract work or service industry jobs. It's easy enough for us to adapt to our needs though.

Reasons for choosing Timeero

They did not appear more user friendly (had a few staff provide feedback) and they were more pricey for a less usable interface.

I loved how easy it was to use. The software is intuative and easy to figure, and support helpful in our company.
Cons:
I didn't like the way you create your own account or the password recovery system. They're a little convuoluted and hard to use.

Now, thanks to Tyler, I have a better understanding of the program and was able to set things up so that it will work better for me.
Cons:
I have been with the service for over a year, and now is the first time I have had any training. When I first signed up i was told i would recieve training but i never did.

We like the ease of use and the multilingual support options. When I did have questions support was readily available and able to help me quickly. [sensitive content hidden] was a huge help and even shared the help center links I couldn't find myself.
Cons:
At this point we don't have any cons as this has been a much better option for us than the previous program we used.

Reasons for switching to Timeero

QuickBooks Time became a terrible platform, tSheets was great. But after the buyout it was useless.

CA compliance is built in. Also the chat assistance is very helpful. [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic and was able to answer all of my inquiries. 5 stars for her!
Cons:
The schedule view is hard to use for individual appoints. I would like to see the Day view show the schedules running vertically so I can expand the columns and see the details of a 30 minute appointment.

The system does glitch at times, particularly when more than one window is open. Pages may load slowly, freeze briefly, or not respond as expected, which can interrupt workflow and require refreshing or reopening the window to continue.

Easy to use, easy-to-understand UI, good customer support chat (Ashleigh helps me regularly), bugs are uncommon
Cons:
Missing some QOL needs: when a manager manages multiple groups, they should be able to see the groups they manage but the individual managers of those groups shouldn't be able to see them; API connection to segmented tracking data (driving time, addresses visited, etc.); published help guide online should be updated more frequently with more info, some is lacking; should be able to mass deactivate jobs/users more easily

Cons:
Lack of follow up following set up. I missed a scheduled phone call and wasn't followed up with by the rep after that.
