Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love the usefulness for our organization that runs a food pantry and works with our community to better help those in need. We want to help people become independent and self-sufficient.
- They help generate great reports of everything and that is helpful for both keeping records and making presentations to the district representatives.
- CharityTracker is a pretty cool idea and is pretty easy to navigate. The idea behind this is great, especially for someone who is in the nonprofit industry.
Cons
- We were not able to keep names of disaster victims associated with the name of the disaster by which they were affected.
- It is also disappointing that the local Trustee's office is no longer covering the cost of the software, which will lead to more agencies dropping it because they cannot afford to keep it.
- Identifying the most needy in our community. Avoiding those who would abuse the system.
Pros
- The support folks REALLY want you to succeed and they have a lot of good advice, and plenty of patience to help you navigate the system.
- Overall Network for Good is amazing for organizing contacts and tracking donor contributions. Would highly recommend the software.
- We love NFG because it is easy to use, has a beautiful interface, and has most of the features we need integrated in one place.
Cons
- It provides inaccurate information and staff is unable to provide a work around even though they have had several complaints.
- So far the only negative is that we cannot link our direct deposit to multiple accounts for separate fundraisers.
- Because there are so many features, sometimes I forget how to navigate to something. This is more due to my "Rookie" status, than the software.
