I mean as soon as you hit submit on the abuse report I received an automated email stating my form was shut down due to a violation. I know because I tested it out. What about some child playing around on your site or a competitor even. They also won't let you collect credit card info unless you are using their payment processors. Talk about monopoly. The drag-and-drop form builder makes creating professional forms incredibly simple, even for users with little or no technical experience. I can quickly add, rearrange, and customize fields without needing to write any code, which saves a significant amount of time. The interface is clean, responsive, and easy to navigate, making the entire form-building process enjoyable. Whether I'm creating registration forms, surveys, or data collection forms, Cognito Forms provides the flexibility I need while keeping everything straightforward. It has become one of my preferred form-building platforms because it allows me to build polished, functional forms quickly and efficiently. #### Cons The only downside I've experienced with Cognito Forms has been the price increases over time. While I understand that software companies need to adjust pricing as they continue to improve their products and add new features, it was still a bit disappointing to see the cost go up. That said, the quality of the platform, its intuitive drag-and-drop builder, and the time it saves me make it well worth the investment. Despite the higher price, I continue to use and happily pay for the service because I haven't found another form builder that offers the same combination of ease of use, flexibility, and reliability. For me, the value still outweighs the additional cost. #### Reasons for switching to Cognito Forms I chose Cognito Forms over Jotform because it offered better overall value for the price. It provides the features I need, an intuitive drag-and-drop builder, and a smooth user experience without requiring a more expensive subscription. Whenever I'm trying to achieve a specific user-facing outcome, I'm able to work side-by-side with the AI to ensure that I'm making exactly the changes I need, rather than banging my head needlessly against the computer. And anytime I need to learn more about Cognito's core functionalities, its answers are clear and easy to follow, with embedded screenshots and gifs to I'm able to translate words into actions. #### Cons Even though Cognito is physically extremely data-secure, it unfortunately hasn't achieved official FIPS compliance, which means that we can't provide formal legal assurances for our partners that require this. I highly recommend Cognito, the new features that are constantly coming out and the ability to do things with the API/Power Automate/MCP allow us to create and amplify our current workflows. The MCP connection is one of my favorite features, and with our developer we can do a ton with the API access Cognito allows. The time and effort they have put into making Cognito a one stop shop is impressive. it's also a very useful tool for employee roster sheets and its automation capability is incredible. #### Cons We are using SSO to log into Cognito, and we need to process name changes not often but often enough. For the name to sync correctly we need to contact Cognito, not the end of the world but it's annoying. It is very easy to learn to use and navigate. I love the security feature provides encryption, secure document uploads, ability to restrict who can access forms and submissions. Forms can be connected to payments processors. Compared to other systems I feel cognate is the most affordable. It can be used as a lead capture tool. #### Cons It isnt a true CRM. It only capture the lead. Lead follow up is limited. It can't be used for client communication. I own a tax business so for me that is basically the only con I have of having to use another system as a CRM.
