Pros/Cons
Pros
- They are good people and this is a great product. If you're looking for a document management program DocsVault is a great choice.
- The experience was great and very helpful. Thank you very much once again.
- Even the best software is only as good as the support team. Docsvault's team has never let me down.
Cons
- So far there is nothing I or our company dislikes about DocsVault. The software has changed our whole aspect towards document management.
- No automatic indication that there is a document in any file or sub-file.
- If you put a document in a file, there is no way of knowing there is a document in the file unless you open it up. We have thousands of files with tens of thousands of sub files.
Pros
- The build-in addons are a huge win. From my perspecitve one of the best choices you can do as a system adminsitrator if you want to deploy a software like nextcloud.
- The interface for a free and open source app is amazing. I love the ability to customize the login screen and it integrates well with Active Directory.
- The best opensource software to store and share your files. Numerous add-ons, version 20 is very good.
Cons
- The risk for conflicting versions if using desktop client, but this may be soved in version 18 as you can locck the file while editing.
- And it is really tempting to add them. But this constitutes a weakness at the same time, because no one guarantees you that these apps will work with the next update of the software.
- What can be bad when you are in complete control over your own data.
