School District Automation Must Have

We were swamped with paper forms and consistently losing track of them. We also were never able to find a company that truly understood the needs of school districts. Droplet understands this and is bringing us into the 21st century, allowing our employees to focus on their jobs.

PROS

It is super easy to use and the Droplet team does a great job simplifying things for the end-user. On top of that, they make the workflow and automation customizable to our complex needs.

CONS

Being a new company, some of the customizable elements are still lacking. However, they are very good at listening to our needs and have been very adaptive to making things work for us.

McDowell County Schools and Droplet

As we all know, time is our most valuable resource, in business as well as in our personal lives. Although we are still in the early stages of implementation district-wide, I believe quicker turnaround and processing times will be the first, and most profound, benefit we realize. Of course, the reduction of paperwork in an already paperwork-overburdened working environment will be a much-needed benefit for our staff, not to mention for our environment.

PROS

The product is extremely easy to use and has begun to streamline many of our office processes. What we’ve found to be most helpful is the expertise of the Droplet’s support. We have been working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT], and he is nothing short of amazing with his know-how and customer support. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has made our transition to paperless processes seamless. Even our “die hard” hard copy fanatics in the office have started to embrace the Droplet experience.

CONS

Honestly, I haven’t found any features in the Droplet platform that are difficult to use. Likewise, to date, there haven’t been any features or customizations that we’ve requested that Droplet has not been able to provide. While it’s been a challenge for some staff members to switch from the hard copy way of doing business, Droplet’s ease of use has eliminated much of the reluctance we experienced during the initiation phase.

Droplet Delivers!

It's been great! Every time I have used it, or needed help from Droplet.. it's been a great experience!!!

PROS

Short on time, which is what I am right now to write this review...I know Droplet is gathering the information I need and I will be able to access it easily and be able to process the onboarding and termination of staff.

CONS

The only downside of Droplet is not really Droplet at all. It would be a problem on our side of the coin.. where an Administrator not learning and utilizing Droplet to it's full potential which would make us even more effective and accurate if they would do it.

A dynamic tool that can turn your organization into an efficient, consistent powerhouse

PROS

Droplet's form customization makes any idea come to fruition. Our district administration has found ways to anticipate user errors and we use our Droplet forms to correct them before they are even submitted, saving everyone time and energy. The Droplet support team is amazing, as well. They also respond within a few hours and almost always have a *chef's kiss* perfect solution to your problem. A+!

CONS

The product is a bit expensive at first, but once your organization is rolling with enough Droplets, the cost is beyond worth it.

Droplet has changed my daily routine.

The benefits of using the droplet system is that the requests move virtually. You can track who has the request and give them a reminder email if they hold onto it a little longer than is necessary.

PROS

Integration was very easy. The forms are easy for me to read because they are typed. I have a permanent record of all requests at my fingertips.

CONS

Our old system was paper and pen, so there is nothing I dislike about droplet. I cannot imagine going back to paper and pen.

HR Action Form and Contracts

Excellent. Great Customer Service and set-up training

PROS

Love the electronic signature and workflow to all approvers. Also Droplet was willing to listen to our suggestions and implement changes that made it easier to use.

CONS

In HR Action Form. When assign or returning to a previous reviewer would like it to go to that person to make comments. It returns it but skips them for comments. Also when Archiving would like to be able to make a comment as to why if we are stopping at someone.

Improved workflow and efficiencies while saving time and resources!

This made a tremendous impact on our workflows, saved time and resources, and puts valuable data at our fingertips as opposed to stacks of paper! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] were very responsive and wonderful to work with.

PROS

Droplet completely changed our workflow and improved efficiencies across our school district. The forms are very customizable for our specific needs and the Droplet team was incredibly helpful and responsive with the implementation. We are streamlining processes and saving time, paper, and money with this system! I love that it makes all the data quickly accessible-no more digging through files! Droplet forms can be used for everything from HR and finance to parent and teacher forms/communication.

CONS

I would like to see an option where more than one approver can be assigned to a given approval level. We often have busy administrators and it would be great if they could use a joint effort on some approvals without having to reassign it in the workflow.

A Lifesaver That We Thought We Wouldn’t Find

From start to final implementation, the rep we’ve worked with has been customer and solutions-focused. If I need to make a change, a quick email is all I have to do.

PROS

We looked at so many solutions and they we’re either too expensive or didn’t have the needed features. I appreciate that an expert designs the forms so that we’re not floundering to get the desired result. Additionally, I love that the software integrates with Google Workspace to SSO into the product. This ensures that our users don’t have one more account to remember.

CONS

I wish there was a better way to test the workflow to see how forms will be routed.

These Droplet Dudes Know Their Stuff

Would like to know how to personally make changes to our existing contract each year. Not that I don't love [sensitive content hidden], but knowing how to do this ourselves would be great. Also, I'd like to customise the emails that go out.

A product that you will not want to be without

The experience was great, it was complex bc the goal of the project was to drive our workflow in the direction of the future. We implement technology/processes with the future in mind and Droplet allowed to raise the bar in our department and for this we are extremely grateful. The workflow has saved us days to complete.

PROS

I like the collaborative efforts with the team, they listen to your needs and from start to finish implementation is top-tier.

CONS

I have not a single complaint, the only addition I would recommend would be a dashboard for workflow of initial product implementation.

I chose droplet because the team is willing to make changes necessary to meet the needs of the clients. There were instances where I felt that it seemed like we were asking too much, but somehow they exceeded expectations and they were up for the challenge.

Simplified Approval Process

Highly positive experience with Droplet

PROS

The ease of use by all parties in the approval process.

CONS

When using droplet remotely on my iphone, once I open an attached document to review as supporting evidence in the approval process, there is not a go back option to the previous screen to complete the approval process, I have to close and return to the original link and re-open in order to finish the approval process.

Very pleased with our Droplet form!!

We needed a online routing and approval process for contract work, and this has made it much more seamless!

PROS

Our form and routing was very easy to setup and the staff and administration love how easy to use it is!

We do wish the dashboard offered just a bit more data maybe even customizable and that we could set up user groups.

Droplet changed our system!

I recommend Droplet to anyone who wants to improve their workflow in their organization.

Once we launched Droplet, after working with a support team, we have been able to make our workflow much smoother!

CONS

There were several versions of our original form, but I think that is because many of the people on our team are not tech people, and had a hard time with systems thinking.
