Better Than Any Other Work Order Software or Mobile App
We are a full scale IT department and we have been able to respond more quickly to our end users needs. It has allowed us to be more focused on customer service and time management. MaintainX has also allowed us the ability to be able to enter work orders on the fly so we do not forget to take care of something. I have not worked with any other software or app that has given us this type of functionality with so much ease and value for the price.
PROSThe ease of functionality in creating work orders for myself, staff and end users. The ability to easily create repeating work orders for backup and preventative maintenance items. The reporting dashboard is really nice and allows me to see a well rounded view of where we stand. I think I most enjoy how fast the app notifies me of a new request and status updates.
CONSI would like to see the ability to have work orders created based on known email addresses as well.

MaintainX was what satisfied our needs without flashy extra options that we would never use. We just needed a simple, powerful work order system and I feel that MaintainX provides all of that for us.

We made the switch because the software was difficult to setup, the mobile app was not efficient, end user confusion and there was not enough value in the price being charged.

Easy to use Great results
Overall, maintainX is a great system that is still evolving to meet the customers needs. it has made tracking work orders for both scheduled and unsceduled work very easy and inventory managment is great.
PROSit is an easy to set up system, cloud based and moble friendly. The end users can navigatge the system from a phone or tablet with ease to manage assets, find parts, and complete work oreders.
CONSScheduling module could use some help. It is difficult to schedule work that may have a differwent due date that scheduled date. Receiving against PO's is complicated because it does not account for partially received orders.

MaintainX - Digitizing Equipment Maintenace
MaintainX has been a great tool. We have completely switched all our paper maintenance records to electronic records, saving paper and resources. Additionally, we have better oversight on the assets in use and are able to keep up with routine maintenance and capture the work performed in real-time which was always a struggle when using a paper-based system.
PROSEasy to use, and setup. Both desktop and mobile work extremely well and are easy to pick up. The MaintainX integration team and customer support are helpful and responsive which makes the switch to MaintainX a no brainer.
CONSA lot of maintenance tracking is driven by industry specific regulations which usually incorporates software validation as part of the qualification process for using an electronic system. Therefore, some more features geared towards role/user administration and customization, audit trail, metadata tracking, etc.

The UI was much better especially on mobile. Our production staff uses tablets to complete electronic batch records so the decision to use MaintainX was easy after seeing the trial of both products.

Very Helpful Product.
Until MaintainX was introduced to our company, maintenance was carried out by talking to the maintenance engineers about what had to be done each day. This was time consuming and little to no records were kept about each asset and its maintenance schedule. MaintainX has enabled us to keep a work order history for each asset/location and provides use with time and cost tracking which we would not have had before.

Versatility and dependable
We needed a system that works well not just for the uper management, but for the tech's. They are the frontline workers and we wanted a system they would enjoy using. Something user friendly and easy to use. We found it with MaintainX
PROSWe like that this is a mobile first system, everything a tech needs to have access to is there at his/her finger tip.

Great CMMS - Easy to use
Its a powerful tool to keep up will all the request we receive, to make sure nothing is forgotten.We've started including procedure for common task, which allows new hire to perform task with less supervision, and more effectively.
PROSWe chose MaintainX over other CMMS because it was simple and easy to use for some of our techs who are not that computer-savvy.Been using it for a lil over a year and its great, work order dont slip in the cracks anymore, the procedure library is a powerful tool and the android app is really nice.
CONSSome of the feature are sometimes too simple, missing some options, but then we chose it for its simplicity so cant complain.

Easy for anybody to use
Overall I have no complaints. MaintainX does everything I was looking for in a CMM.
PROSI like how easy it is to add work order, parts and assets.
CONSI love that requesters are free it gives people an option to request work when needed. The only thing I wish was included was mabye allow procedures to be done by requesters. Not give them access to change anything but for example. If you had 12 forklift operators then they would be forklift requesters and have one form on their app the would be a daily forklift checklist. Only thing they can do is request work on their forklift and fill out the daily checklist that would come to me.

They did an upgrade to their system and I wasn't able to access their website for over a month. I started looking at other options and came across your website and loved the way everything looks.

MaintainX is worthy of your consideration.
This software has shown me where we needed better tracking with parts supplies and ordering as well as managing work order flow
PROSUser friendly, phone and Tablet compatible, frequent videos, support and the list goes on.
CONSIn over 2 years of being on MaintainX daily, I cannot think of 1 aspect that I dislike about this software.

Using MaintainX to implement maintenance system from scratch
MaintainX has begun the process of automating much of our maintenance system that was labor intensive and memory driven before. I feel like I have only scratched the surface to this point of what possibilities it opens up for us as far as inventory, cost, and maintenance tracking.
PROSMaintainX has streamlined work order generation and communication in our plant. Work requests are easy to generate, review and assign, with all parties receiving notifications on their mobile devices and workstations. PMs are also automated, with technicians recording hourly meters at weekly intervals and lubricating and maintenance procedures automatically generated through work orders.
CONSI am currently very new to the program and at an early stage of our companies implementation. I have not encountered an issue with MaintainX yet that I felt was problematic.
Reasons for switching to MaintainX
At the point we made the switch, NetFacilities was basically out of use in our facility. Nothing was kept up with, and it was not particularly easy to rebuild our system within the program. The mobile aspect and ease of use of MaintainX sold us on that program.

Good platform, great support. Still needs some growth, but happy with results so far.

CONSSome capabilities are limited by constraints of the program. Example- cross-category escalation capability, scheduling block, “bad actor” asset tracking Pareto. Some aspects are only attainable through enterprise level.. the cost is higher than what you currently get out of it in my opinion.

CHANGES EVERYTHING FOR THE BETTER + MORE MONEY
Fantastic! Everyone from the team ive spoken with is great. And the product is fantastic.
PROSPerfect with a couple of Adjustments (personally) for my unique property management business. I have more time for my family and work, my clients are happy seeing the results easily with the use of the PDF features. And I am making more money as a result. CHOOSE THEM YOU CANT GO WRONG.
CONSI had to make some adjustments to the way I do things, which isn't a bad thing. Only improvement I can currently think of is to make it easier to send PDF's to "clients" rather than "vendors" as it would suit my needs better.

Great, easy to use maintenance system for little cost!
Ease of use, the ability for anyone on our site to be able to request a job, upload photos and assign assets. These can then be approved or rejected and scheduled in easily. Weekly and daily calendars with work orders is great for visualisation and keeping everyone busy and informed.
CONSSome reporting tools are a little lacking, you should have the ability to create a custom report that gives you the same look, format and data on a reoccurring schedule that you set yourself. For example monthly reporting of time vs cost for the same assets each month regardless if the value is £0 or £10000

Awesome Product!
I am a fleet/equipment manager that is still on the road driving. I am way from the office whether it is driving or turning wrenches with my mechanics. I play many roles and have a hard time keeping track of equipment, costs, repairs, purchase orders, vendors, etc. MaintainX help me regain control as a fleet equipment manager.
PROSWhile I don't usually contact customer service unless I have an idea to improve, it is always a quick response. - Work Orders are simple and easy to create - Asset Tracking - Purchase Orders are an awesome addition - Inventory/Parts Tracking is great - Requestors are free and are able to see the work on the work order they prepare The software is clean and simple. It is easy to use and so much you can do with it. I have a lot of favorite features. I like that I can add pictures for the parts, SDS to the chemicals I inventory.
CONSThis software does what I need it to do. The only con that I have is there are items that need to be improved on. However, if you contact MaintainX, they take you idea into consideration and add the feature. I hope they add the ability to approve purchase orders from the phone.

I chose MaintainX because it was easy to set up. All the other products seemed like I had to go all in at first. MaintainX allowed me to start simple with free use. Then I bumped up to the basic and then finally to premium. I also like the pricing is by person and not role. Pricing is also competitive. I would eventually like to check out if there are benefits to the enterprise side, but I brought this product in for the transportation department of the company I work for. I would eventually like the manufacturing side of the company use it for their maintenance department.

MaintainX checks the boxes for my maintenance needs!
I oversee Property and Fleet maintenance for a small rehabilitation company that sets up clients in supported living environments. When I came into the position, there was no process for staff to submit these requests, so they would fly in by all sorts of methods: texts, emails, calls, quick shout-outs, etc. It was a mess without a method to keep communication organized. The previous person in my position would just scribble a jumble of notes to try and remember everything. After researching a few potential apps, I knew that I wanted the process to be as simple as possible for our staff. When there's a maintenance issue: 1) Take a photo (which often describes the issue in more detail than our staff thinks to do); 2) Briefly describe the issue; 3)Hit send. I also appreciate being able to reference the specific work order within the app to ask follow up questions and to let the requester know when the work order is done. MaintainX checks the boxes for my maintenance needs!
PROSI really enjoy the ease of use of the app for both myself and our staff in submitting work order requests. 1) Take a photo; 2) Briefly describe the issue; 3) Hit send.
CONSI had a bit of an issue trying to get some of our staff to adopt the new process of using an app to submit work order requests - even though it couldn't be any easier. By old (inefficient) habits, they still wanted to text, email, call, shout-out, etc when there was an issue. As much as I tried to encourage them to use the app in these instances, I couldn't ignore their requests - which just further conditioned them to head in the wrong direction. After mentioning this issue and asking for a "Requester tab" to be available when creating a new work order, the MaintainX team worked to build this suggestion into their software (shout-out to Hugo!). Now I have the secret weapon to gently nudge our staff to learn the ease and benefits of using the MaintainX app!

Great Switch
Overall a positive experience with the ease of implementation and continuous use. Only took a few hours to setup all assets and inspection templates with no assistance. This is a very straight forward product.
PROSWe utilize MaintainX for daily vehicle inspections, asset management, and logging vehicle repairs. We switched from a software that specialized in fleet management do to the lower cost and ease of configuration. Previous software only completed inspections. MaintainX can handle the inspections and keep track of our open work orders and helps our team stay on the same page for all assets.
CONSAt this moment there is not any thing I can list negatively about Maintainx.

Great app with everything we were looking for and way below the cost of others. Great support team. We know we can get our jobs done and communicate better as a team using this app.

Great Tool for PM's
This software has really helped streamline our Work Order process. Before, we were still using paper and a fax machine to send and track all of our daily work orders for multiple properties. MaintainX has helped us and our Maintenance Team to get to work orders faster and more efficiently. They are able to receive alerts right away when there are new work orders without making a trip to the main office to pick up a piece of paper. We were able to get rid of the dreaded Work Order Tracking Binder... and, we are reducing paper waste and helping the environment, win-win!
PROSEase of use. We have a few users who are not 'tech-savvy', but they were able to pick up this new tool and put most (if not all) of the functions to great use! So far, so good!
CONSWe really have not come across any features we haven't liked. There are some that we just don't use, but it's as simple as that, we just don't use them!

Best in class!
Overall it was and has been great I do recommend this product for a specific scale of operation that's not looking for a full enterprise level solution.
PROSThe ease of use for myself the administrator and how simple it is for the technicians to use.
CONSSometimes the view of what is completed and what is open on the home page is not the easiest to filter for a quick view and the PO's only allow for USD and no other currency which is hard when we do a ton of overseas purchasing of machine parts.

The cost and ease of use as well as the dashboard metric. Less clutter then some of the competition. the way you setup and deploy the system was the easiest I have ever used and I have deployed two other systems and managed about 5 others. This is by far the most straightforward in all areas.

The CMMS that improves the maintenance effectiveness
Before Maintainx we used to use a simple Access file, almost useless. It is much easier than maintenance module of common ERP. After a few weeks after we start both the requestor (production) and user (maintenance staff) were very satisfied. The MaintainX staff is always supportive.
PROSIt is very user friendly from desktop and mobile. It's ready to use and doesn't need long time for set-up. Easy to integrate with ERP and other tool.
CONSThe way an expired due date for an acitivity is shown should be improved

MaintainX best CMMS hands down!
Being able to see where my crew spend their time is critical for me. This tells the company where to spend their money to get more production from machinery.
PROSHonestly the backup received from your online support is outstanding. We have I been left in the dark unable to figure out something. The help with creating procedures from paper copies within my company and being able to digitalise them so all crews can use them when required is one of the best parts I love about MaintainX
CONSDefinitely! Something that gets me is not being able to add more the one asset to a work order. If I have 5 machines that require preventative maintenance on the same day. I want to be able to add all the assets and not have to make up 5 work orders.

Improving our department over the years
Very positive, effective, productive, and user-friendly. This software has completely changed our department.
PROSWork order management is by far our most utilized function of MaintainX. We have multiple users interacting with each other all day every day. It has completely streamlined our process.
CONSI wish there was an option to send to multiple people in series, in the portal function. It would be ideal for my organization if our requestors could submit a work order, it was then sent to the clinical director who checked approval, and then it was sent me maintenance director, who could then turn it into a work order after seeing that it has the approval of the clinical director.

The most user friendly CMMS program out there
Seamless. My team had a very short learning curve with the software and MaintainX is gaining visibility in our company. Customer service has been fantastic.
PROSApp based. Anyone with a phone can use this program. Very modern, sleek design. Ease of use really drives participation in the program.
CONSWe haven’t done a very deep dive into the software, so there is some uncertainty of how this might integrate into other software we’re using.
