Ahson Riaz's Review

My experience has been amazing, I have not witnessed any bugs and the app has always given very accurate responses.

PROS

The personalized recommendations the tool makes according to the job description for your resume is the best part about this tool. This is a feature I have been looking for everywhere and it has allows me to optimize my resume to pass ats checks and impress recruiters using the suggestions the tool has provided.

CONS

The limitation on the free tier is a huge setback for students like me who wish to use the app for career development but yet do not posses the funds to purchase this app. I would suggest a free tier for resume enhancement with limitations of the overall usability.

One of the better Resume AI out there

PROS

Ease of use is one thing I really like about the AI as well as the free trials. They are confident in their product and I can see why. I have paid for kickresume and teal resume AI and both were just average due to parsing issues and differing reasonings of scoring. Jobsearch will tell you exactly what you need to have and the ATS words missing and generate sentences for you.

CONS

My only issue which i'm sure can be added over time is asking if the AI can generate more sentences for you resume as it only does a fixed amount at a time.

Resume writing

I think the concept is great but there is room for improvement in recognizing the meaning of work processes.

PROS

The concept of getting an objective resume review. Candidate tracking system keywords check.

CONS

I had to upload my resume multiple times rather than use it for any job description as a baseline. I experienced constant breakdowns and interruptions. I finally just gave up. The software did not process the resume. Although I have extensive experience in the field the software did not "recognize" it but only identified five years of work.

Vendor Response

Dear Angelika, I am truly sorry for the issues you have faced. I oversaw an investigation to understand the cause. It turns out that on a couple of occasions, the file you submitted as your resume did not contain a valid resume; instead, it contained some job postings. This accident was the reason why the AI became confused. Thank you very much for your great suggestion to save resumes for future use. We will work on designing this solution. Regarding the "breakdowns and interruptions" you mentioned, could I kindly ask you to provide more details via our customer support channel at https://jobsearch.coach/contact? Any information you can share about what you saw on the screen during those moments would be incredibly helpful for diagnosing and fixing the problem. As an apology, we are adding an extra month to your Unlimited plan for free. We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with a more positive experience moving forward. Thank you for helping us improve. Andrej
