GIMP is easy to use and integrate into your business as an alternative to Photoshop for certain media projects.

The toolboxes are not integrated into the main window; this makes it difficult to visualize the image to work.

Its interface is ugly and I swear, I don't know how people can manage to do some decent work with this program.

What I enjoy most about Gimp is how easy it was to use. Everything was easy to figure out and worked like a charm.

In terms of drawing tools, it is very minimalist to the point where buying a tablet that senses the difference in pressure applied on the screen is useless.

GIMP is very good, easy to use, standard brushes are really cool, and in addition to drawings it is also great for making photo edits, of similar quality to mainstream image manipulation software.

Another weakness I find is poor text handling. The method of adding and editing text is complicated and unclear; especially when compared to most of today's image editors, both free and paid.

What I liked most is it costs nothing unlike another popular photo editing software. Pretty similar tools and great for new designers.
