The ease of use and access to tools with a rich interface was helpful to quickly understand it after switching from lightroom/photoshop.

I use it very occasionally for things that I need, but so far it's wonderful.

Additionally, having separate personas that you choose depending on what you wish to do to the image helps cut down on clutter and allows you to focus better.

Selecting layer from working screen is very frustrating. It means can't select wanted layer among overlapped  layers with right click list checking.

Actually very easy to use, and a great alternative to its subscription-based alternatives. It has a lot of features, and you can manipulate psd files without issues.

Familiar and fantastic feature set makes the Affinity suite of apps a joy to use.

Overall, I love Affinity. It's a fantastic piece of software that can perform just about any role that Adobe Photoshop can.

I love how Affinity Photo has all of the features that a graphic designer needs to succeed. It has features comparable to that of Photoshop, but it's more affordable.

It's perfect perpetual license and price is low. Fast navigate and can handling big project.

Affinity Photo has no image organizing tools, so you cannot organize and manage your image collection. It may be problem for photographers with large image library.

I bought this because I was working on a project that needed CMYK and it was taking a few months. The monthly cost of Adobe was annoying.

This wonderful application can co work with Affinity Designer for every design work process like Pixel to Vector. Even need to fix and feature, Perpetual License and Low product price is Big merit.

With integrated color profiles, RGB and CMYK, you can easily deliver your photos for online, to photograph shop or to press.

I love how each of the Affinity applications work together. I seamlessly move from Designer to Photo and back.

User must find in layer palette. This is horrible when many layer project.

I love that it's so easy to use. And with lots and lots of tutorials on how to use it.

Affinity Photo is a great alternative to Photoshop. It is very inexpensive with a one-time fee to own the software outright being less than half a year of an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

A great software for photo edition, once you get a hold of it you can actually do really amazing photo edition. You can easily play with the layers and the tools to create a great work.

Affinity Photo User Friendly and Highly Recommended.

Little bit training need to using mask workflow. Newbie user confusing when work with mask layer.

It is on par with Photoshop in all essential features, and surpasses Photoshop in many features. I love that it has a simple help feature that assists in using each tool.

It's cross-platform friendly and art can be exported in high enough quality for professional printers. If you can already use similar programs easily, this program is super easy to use as well.

It has very powerful tools for Shape creation and editing as well as layers and effects. If you're one a tight budget but need good vector creation capabilities, this is the tool for you.

One of the main advantages of this program is its freeware nature, I discovered it one day that I had to do some quick vectoring for a design and this program saved me.

The only problem I have had with this software is its weakness in exporting formats compatible with Latex.

No option to see colors are print or screen-friendly. Inkscape lags behind premium vector graphic options.

This is an amazing feature especially since it allows me to separate the shadow from the original word and save it as an SVG to import into my cutter.

I mostly like the vector converter result. It makes my photos or images quality much better and it help me to presentate the best result for client.

Inkscape has all the features you need when creating a quick design or editing a shape/photo. It performs flawless, quick and gives you lots of freedom to create whatever you want.

There are many features that I feel are needed, that are missing as well as overall GUI issues and things that are complicated for seemingly no reason that keep me from using this more often.

It was awkward and not very intuitive to use. The UI was pretty bad too.

Very limited features and the interface is very outdated, clunky and very hard to use for more than the basics.

Poor UI integration with different systems settings, on linux, Inkscape doesn't respect screen scalling.

I use Inkscape at my MacBook pro and in the past I experienced some stability problems that may had to do with the xQuartz.

Completely non-intuitive. It's complicated and weird to figure out how to export the file formats you need.

Overall, I would highly recommend Inkscape. It is free and opensource which is pretty awesome and you can do so much in it.

Large and robust community support ranging from setup, extensions to advanced editing. Open source and fully featured.

Firstly I love Inkscape due to it being Free and Open Source, it has a great community with loads of documentation online on how to use it.

If you are dealing with very large projects, it has some tendancy to freeze for sometime and this makes to feel bad while working on projects.

This software has the great advantage to be completely free and having the capacity to integrate other free and powerful APIs.

It's open source, it's free. Provides great features for a free tool, perfect if you need to do some vector work without paying for the industry tools.

While I could install a WebP plugin for Inkscape I've had bad experiences with Inkscape plugins in the past and I avoid them as much as possible.

And, it’s price tag of FREE certainly helps when starting a business with zero capital and only two commissions that are yet to be paid.

When working with large files, It lags and often crash. It  gets really annoying when it can't keep up with the editing process.

Love that it is free and has lots of features. Great for someone starting out as there is no subscription fees and it does the job.
