icons8 delivers outstanding results with its photo-editing capabilities at no compromise in quality.

icons8 exhibits one of the most robust image tinkering capabilities in a web application suite. From photo upscaling & background removal to provisioned search-by-image results that yield splendid icon sets & much, much more, icon88 left me in awe & joy with its abundant features that catalysed my personal & productivity workload.

I'm genuinely impressed by the simplicity & capability of designing & editing photos via icons8. I often capture & receive photos of certain areas at the construction site that appear pixelated or blurry which makes it challenging to identify the highlighted issue. icons8 resolves the matter with its fast-processing image upscaling by masterfully sharpening my photos & the results look incredible. Having also subscribed to the full set, I'm able to create eye-catching presentations with the plethora of stock photos, icons & vectors found in the suite of utilities found within the service. Moreover, the background-remover feature works quite well & the subject looks naturally isolated rather than being poorly-trimmed from its background. Furthermore, searching for icons based on uploaded photos brilliantly recognizes & generates a whole list of icons that are well suited for clipart use for adding more details into our pamphlet printouts & presentations. I've tried uploading a photo of a ready-mix truck parked inside the construction site & I received plenty of icons resembling the truck which is quite amazing.

Cons:

I have absolutely no complaints with the service. It's just fantastic.

The best alternative for Sketch and it's convenient.

Overall I love this product for the wide range of options to design something. Lunacy is a brilliant alternative to Sketch and it's free to everyone. It has a great choice of consistent, pixel-perfect icons that meet all of my design needs. In contrast to Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD it's a lightweight and convenient user experience. I will recommend trying this product to get an unforgettable experience.

Icons8 introduced the revolutionary design software named Lunacy. The lunacy is a great alternative to Sketch. It has an intuitive user interface and It is a good choice to design a mobile app or website template using lunacy. It is not necessary to be an expert in the subject to get an impressive result and it supports Sketch or Figma file format.

Cons:

The a low amount of illustrations in each style. Missing the advanced prototyping feature. Hope for a superb solution in the future.

Lunacy is miles away better as a free software and It's a cross platform software. So, I can use this all of my operating system.

Icons8 is stealing from me

Every month they charge me, I hate them more and more. The amount of times I've tried to reach out and have been stonewalled is insane. I am now resorting to leaving reviews so they can finally reach out and get to the bottom of this, but I doubt they will do anything.

Good variety of icons, recently added illustrations and more.

Cons:

Terrible customer service that has continued to charge my account even though it's been cancelled for several months. They have refused to reply to any of my messages via email, live chat or their community board. I have no way of logging into my account to contact them either because it has been deleted. I'm being robbed every month for no service.

Hello Brian! I understand your frustration about those monthly payments. The thing is that our service is subscription-based, and you can choose either a monthly or yearly subscription. Even if a customer forgets to cancel their subscription, there is no problem with that. We are always ready to provide a refund if they didn't use their subscription. Unfortunately, we hadn't received any messages from you before this post appeared. Probably, there was some technical issue with our mailing system. I'm glad that we were able to settle this matter!

"The best free alternative to Adobe XD (for Linux)."

It's convenient to work daily basis. The UI of lunacy looks simple, minimalist, and responsive. They are very keen to ask for suggestions from their user and try to implement these in every new version.

If you are looking for the best cross-platform design software? The answer is yes, lunacy is a brilliant solution for that. There are some exclusive features like icons-library, avatars, placeholders, and more. It's fast & stable, and not a resource hunger like other software. It runs any operating system like Windows, Linux, or macOS.

Cons:

Advanced prototyping is the biggest missed feature. I hope lunacy takes this issue seriously and fixes it soon.

One of the best software for design and it's free.

Lunacy is a great design software, and it's free for everyone. I have found it a very simple and feature-centric tool. It's the best alternative to Adobe XD, Figma, and Sketch. It's a tiny file, and it's not a resource hunter. I have a pleasant experience in using lunacy and recommend it to others.

Lunacy is one of the great design software that I have ever used. This application has a clean and minimal interface. It is a brilliant application for creating and editing vectors, and printing design. It has a plenty cool feature like icon library and avatars. Lunacy is great at creating mockups and template.

Cons:

Lunacy has some cons like missing advanced prototyping and the constant logging out of the account can get annoying.

Best one I ever tried

The user experience of this software is quite good. In contrast to Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch, the price of this tool is less and it can be free if you don't use the premium feature. I use this software day to day basis to do my design work. I will recommend it to others.

Sometime symbolic icon SVG code gives error while animate and change view box

A "must have" in the toolkit of anyone working with Digital Marketing

I worked as a freelancer in digital marketing for three years and Icons8 was one of the platforms I used the most. For a long time I used the free tier and for over a year the paid tier. The biggest use I made was to get icons for creating websites.

A huge amount of illustrations available in the free level. High quality illustrations at the paid level. Continuous release of new tools within the platform. Continuous release of new illustration collections. Low monthly cost.

Cons:

Interface a little messy. Although it is not expensive, the competition in the niche is quite high and there is no way to use only this solution, it is necessary to have this and many others. I really like the tool, but it is necessary to recognize that in the same niche of activity there are a lot of alternatives, so it is necessary to have it in your toolbox, but it is also necessary to have many others and when necessary, consult what is the best alternative for the occasion. It is a very competitive niche, with new tools and solutions with free level constantly appearing.

My honest review of Icons8

Overall, my experience wasn't too bad, aside from the pricing concerns. The platform provided great features and functionality, making it user-friendly and efficient to find the asset you came in for.

The ability to edit assets within the platform without the need to use another program is what makes it stand out to me. In addition, there is an extensive library of assets, so you can find almost anything you are looking for.

Cons:

However, I am dissatisfied with the fact that free users cannot download the asset in SVG format and other formats as well. Additionally, I find the pricing to be excessively high.
