A good solid package that needs further improvement.

Photoworks is very user friendly and easy to figure out and the videos are extremely helpful. I also have had GIMP a long time, which is a very complex graphics program.

AWFUL!!! Until I hear back from someone TODAY about why you took my money without allowing me to download the program!!! My  project is due by Wednesday.

Staff offers help with any questions when purchasing. I really enjoy moving the bars (sharpness,  etc. ) & seeing  immediate changes on  the photo.

Because of the poor support, I'm considering changing to another product. This issue is not just with Photoworks but also with SmartShow 3D.

I have found nothing to this date that I dislike about the software.

I use Photoworks to manipulate photos for patients and procedures before projecting them to students. It is simple, with clean interface and does the job with ease.

I just enjoy using it and their Customer Service is great.

I love using this product because I get great results very fast. I've never had an issue with the software such as glitches, freezing, erratic results, etc.

GIMP is easy to use and integrate into your business as an alternative to Photoshop for certain media projects.

The toolboxes are not integrated into the main window; this makes it difficult to visualize the image to work.

Its interface is ugly and I swear, I don't know how people can manage to do some decent work with this program.

What I enjoy most about Gimp is how easy it was to use. Everything was easy to figure out and worked like a charm.

In terms of drawing tools, it is very minimalist to the point where buying a tablet that senses the difference in pressure applied on the screen is useless.

GIMP is very good, easy to use, standard brushes are really cool, and in addition to drawings it is also great for making photo edits, of similar quality to mainstream image manipulation software.

Another weakness I find is poor text handling. The method of adding and editing text is complicated and unclear; especially when compared to most of today's image editors, both free and paid.

What I liked most is it costs nothing unlike another popular photo editing software. Pretty similar tools and great for new designers.

Gimp is the go-to solution if you can't afford other apps in this field that are super expensive. It has great features and it's super easy to use.

GIMP can be very slow in processing some images and doing transformations on it, so sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes for a blurring only for the software to crash.

As a design expert first, I find that the icon of GIMP is beautiful and it is fun and easy to use the application.

The ease of use is just fantastic, along with that the size it takes is very less compared to the other softwares of its kind.

The most I like about this is the price, the other things is the huge amount of things you can do with it, it is great value for money.

The floating windows are unintuitive and the entire user experience suffers for it. Learning your way around the horrible user interface takes time, energy, and most of all thick nerves.

This has a TON of features, especially for a free program. It's an excellent alternative to the other popular (and much more expensive) photo manipulation suite.

Other than that the features which I really appreciate about it is frequent update cycles,huge community and options of adding plugins and scripts ( many users donate it for free for other users).

It does lack some qualitites that Adobe Photoshop has, and when you get to the point in a project where it's lacking, it's quite a bummer.

To have an open source editing software with this quality is really amazing. It's a profesional editing sofware with all the tools needed to manipulate and create an amazing work.
