Guru for Users
so far so good while am still learning how to maximize this platform
PROSI just started using this and noticed that it's an all-in-one platform for managing things like projects and tasks
CONSthe help tool wasn't as efficient as I thought it would be as the self-help was not as intuitive while on-the-go usage/training

My overall experience with Guru "I enjoyed my work and it was very convenient.
PROSI like that you can find anything and everything that you need to answer any question you have.
CONSGuru is getting overly populated with information that you don't need which is sometimes outdated and is not of use any longer.

Awesome Experience
It was amazing experience to follow guru card.
PROSI like the categorization, favorites and tags. Also, the ask a question feature which is basically an AI driven by database of Guru Card.
CONSThe search feature as it gives an ambiguous answer.

Knowledge Management for the Future
Guru has been such a benefit to our company, it's ability to connect and intergrate with other common work programs has made it much easier to implement. As someone who edits and creates resources within Guru there are a lot of wonderful features when building these cards to help share information in different and visually appealing ways. The Guru support teams are also always very responsive and open to feedback within their forum. Many features have been implemented just in the time we've been using it that have only served to improve the product.
CONSIt would be nice if the search function was more intuitive, right now you have to have a good idea of what you're looking for when searching, and if you don't type it in exactly you're unlikely to get a decent result. The implementation of "Answers" has helped this tremendously, but it would be nice to have in the search functionality.

Useability of GURU
Overall, the experience with Guru has been good for our organization. It has helped us achieve most of what we were looking for when searching for a solution. However, there is definitely some room for improvement in an enterprise environment.
PROSGuru is an excellent way to maintain and adjust current procedures, guides, instructions for users. It's pretty straightforward for people who are creating the Guru cards.
CONS1. The Text editing is a bit limiting and nuanced... you'll have to play with formatting to figure out how or if you can make your card look like you want it to. 2. You can't target card permissions very well. It's either open to the team creating cards, or the public. You can't target to specific groups of company users, or even "only" to people within your organization. Not finely tuned to work in an enterprise environment.3. There is no mechanism that you can give viewers to search cards unless they are part of the group creating them. A search window for all users would be fantastic. We've tried to create a table of contents card which is helpful, but it's a very clunky solution.
Reason for choosing Guru
At the time, Guru seemed to fit our primary goal of maintaining up-to-date procedures. However, expanding that to organization users has been more challenging.
Reasons for switching to Guru
FAQs for staff were often in PDF format and were more difficult to keep up to date.

Completely change how your team works together and searches
Guru has been a great help to us in many ways; its many features have allowed us to streamline our research and communication with one another; the fact that we can keep all of our relevant data in one central location and have easy access to it has saved us countless hours of work. Its cutting-edge artificial intelligence search tools have helped us find exactly what we need in record time.
PROSWe use it to conduct enterprise-level searches and handle large amounts of data using AI. Its intuitive interface and extensive feature set have allowed us to significantly improve the efficiency with which we share and retrieve information. The entire team has very well accepted this platform's ability to integrate with others because it allows everyone to work with the same data set without switching between different applications. Guru's powerful search algorithms and user-friendly interface make it easy to locate specific pieces of information even if we don't know their precise location.
CONSGuru is expensive; however, the platform's many advantages outweigh its price, making it a wise financial investment.

Knowledge management made easy by a versatile well-managed tool
The learning process is shirt as there is a good backup of training videos, most features are intuitive, and the ability to collect knowledge from various users and make them keep it verified is important too.
CONSFolder management can be better, analytics have gone in a very different direction than what is required. We need to know who is creating content individually, team-wise, and learn about gaps. I would like admins to have this functionality on their dashboards and not have to dig around to find that the team features do not really reflect performance. I would also like to reward my top performers with badges.

Excellent Knowledge Base
Overall, great! Would recommend to others.
PROSMy favorite thing about guru is its search capability. The fact that I can just think of a keyword or specific topic that was on a card allows me to pull up all cards that are relevant to that search. It is extremely helpful to quickly identity the card I was thinking of and needed to find.
CONSIt was hard to find certain editing options when you're trying to update the collection, verification cadence, or where the board lives for a card that is already made. The editing options could be little bit more obvious and user facing.

Great tool for storing useful knowledge tools!
We use it to store our policies and procedures. Users can check here for updated info and remind themselves on a specific policy. If they need to they can star the card for future reference and leave comments to gain clarity.
PROSMakes it easy for us to keep an information database for our staff to access on demand. It’s easy for admins to add edits and also allows users to comment and tag themselves in information that may need updating.
CONSNothing, it provides everything we would require in an info database and more. We switched from a different software for its ability to allow users to track and comment on cards

The Company Brain
Guru helps us get new hires up to speed quickly and helps our fast growing organization keep everyone on the same page. Stops interruptions and the frustration of trying to find the right and most recent information. Solves the huge timezone challenges with teams working globally and it is impossible to connect to head office easily.
PROSThere is lots to like in this knowledge management platform. New hires absolutely love being able to find the information then need and trust it once they have found it. 1) Ease of use: Integration with GSuite and a Chrome extension make it easy to find and create content 2) Great search function and AI 3) Validation of information so users know what they are reading is current.
CONSlayout tools of the individual cards is a bit weak. It has an export to PDF function that we will never use because you can't create nice looking cards.

Love for Guru
We solve lots of avoidance of miscommunication and easy places to find simple learnings which saves our team lots of time.
PROSThe Guru extension is my favorite feature. It follows the website well and everything you need to see is visible and it rarely has any slow downs or update issues. The constant updates on our cards is crucial as we always change processes in sales and this tool helps our team stay on the same page.
CONSThe knowledge trigger features usually dont work too well for my team it might be a temporary issue but we never seem to use the feature anyway.

Guru in a true sense
When dealing with a customer's query if I am unsure of a process, I have to check the relevant Guru card instead of looking for a subject matter expert or a supervisor, which saves a lot of time.
PROSGuru is the go-to tool for any questions I have regarding the process. It comes in handy while dealing with customer queries and helps me provide accurate and relevant information to our members. Information on Guru is easy to access and the navigation is smooth and efficient.

Guru is an awesome helper!
Guru is a really helpful software where you can save your sensitive and internal data at work and just selected people can have it. Guru is the best!
PROSI really like using Guro, it is great to have it. I use Guru every day at work and it helps me with many internal and sensitive data that the company has. I worked remotely and Guro has been an awesome helper in my work daily activities.

An honest review of the Guru as a Knowledge Base
The overall performance of this platform is magnificent. The graphics are engaging, the appearance is well thought of and the proper emphasis on important tabs is a big help. One feature that I admire the most is the cards, since being in the CSR industry for over 4 years already you dont get to see an overview for the articles you want to refer to. It's like having a preface on a book. You can also add the most useful articles on your home page which is a huge plus on convenience.
CONSOne small improvement I hope was present is that the links for the articles can be viewed on the same home page. I hope that you can maximize scrolling through the same page without having to open on a new tab because that's pretty confusing especially once you're in the middle of a call.

The ease of searching cards and the new AI-powered "Ask a question" feature. It would be great to keep improving on this to leverage for searching existing resources for information/answers.
CONSThe opening and closing of different cards instead of being able to "tab" them like when searching an internet browser. Would make going between cards and copying multiple cards when having to reference multiple resources easier.

Guru - my favourite knowledge management tool
Guru's formatting options mean it's easy to take a complex matter and break it down into highlighable points, as well as contain enough information for those not just looking for a quick answer to gain in-depth context on card topics. Team permissions mean people who only need entry level access to certain subject matters don't get swamped with context that can become overwhelming when trying to sort out customer issues. I also love how easily searchable information is, with boards, tags and content! Guru's AI feature is also fantastic at finding cards with synonymous words which wouldn't otherwise show in search, and answering questions directly. It integrates exceptionally well into the daily work of frontline support, as well as internal teams, and is easy to implement new information into boards by making use of the drafting features.
CONSMost things I can think about being a slight issue with Guru has been solved in recent updates - some cards used to be huge and tough to read while on live interactions, but now AI can summarize a card, or answer questions directly about the point being discussed. The table of contents used to be manual, but now Guru has that feature built in. Devs are obviously super responsive to the needs of users. It's an ideal tool for shared knowledge management. The only thing left is being able to request permissions for a single card if referenced in another and you don't need permission to view the entire board, but you have a topic that needs the deeper knowledge, from the T2 cards when you're a T1 for example.
