Overall I have had a great experience with paperpile and it has made my PhD/Research life substantially easier, I will keep using it after my PhD due to this fact.

It is difficult to troubleshoot why the format is incorrect.

To sidestep this problem, I have to log out all my account and log in again just to update my bibliography.

The main issue is in organizing citations because users cannot upload a paper directly into a folder, so there is a risk of misplacing it.

Although major citation managers like Zotero are free, Paperpile is the best option for a Chromebook.

In research, we read many papers, but the other management systems I used (or were given for free) were so old and confusing to use that I hated using them.

The low cost also makes it easy to recommend to Grad students.

Lots of tools for organization within the system, where you can organize by project. Papers save as PDFs to the associated Google account which is nice as it saves space on your main drive.

Refreshing the google doc fixes this, but it's very annoying to have to do that every 5 minutes on days when Paperpile is deciding to act up.

It’s so easy to use and manage. Because you can tie it to Gmail accounts, I always recommend it to other researchers and Grad students because of our (“unlimited”) University storage.

With the browser plugin, its easy to add a paper and it's smart about detecting whether the URL is a PDF or a page with a PDF (like arxiv.org), etc. It's easy to search papers and read them later.

The integration with google docs is also very convenient and allows for quick creating of references.

This is especially helpful if I forget the exact paper, as clicking on the tag allows me to quickly scan for the paper I want.

It is exceptionally easy to use this software, with ready integration into browsers, easy access to full text pdfs, and easy to share with colleagues.

I really like how easy it is to tag documents for better organization and searching. I also find the Chrome extension extremely beneficial for quickly importing new papers/references.

I had to open chrome, which is not my favorite web browser. And sometimes it's slow to import paper (chrome extension is not working fast).

Seamless integration Google Drive and the ability to direct-add papers is really useful. It works across most platforms and is relatively easy to collaborate across.

This tagging feature is most useful when I am in the middle of writing and want to quickly look for a paper of interest.

Team Viewer is very easy to use and much reliable as compared to its competitors. Clipboard integration and team sharing is pretty much seamless.

Unstable internet connection: some times the connections are lost. I can not control other devices in my local network without an internet connection.

Transferring a large file is not practical with this tool. With an unstable internet connection, this application does not work smoothly and gets interrupted frequently.

There are several features that could be dangerous if in the wrong hands. TeamViewer is often used in Tech Support Scams.
