ConnectWise Control is cloud-based operations management solution that allows technicians to perform remote support, gain remote access and run remote meetings. It acts as a meeting point for technicians and customers, enabling them to receive solutions without phone or chat sessions.

The solution's remote support allows users to remotely view and control devices, servers or workstations. Users can create and manage sessions from a customizable and brandable centralized control panel.

With ConnectWise Control's remote access, users can gain access to and control unattended servers or computers. This model helps users install and upgrade customer computers without requiring manually enabled connections.

ConnectWise Control's remote meeting and presentation feature allows users to share their screen with one or more individuals. Users can collaborate with team members, provide project updates, conduct training sessions and make presentations. ConnectWise Control allows the presenter to share their screen with the audience. It offers a mobile application for iOS and Android devices.

ConnectWise Control is available on an annual subscription basis that includes support via phone.

    ConnectWise Control - Remote access made simple, and incredibly cost effective.

    My team and I love this software, and our customer's have even noticed the overall improvement in resolution times.

    Pros

    Before switching to ConnectWise Control, we were using a different software package, that cost more than twice as much, and had less than half of the features. ConnectWise Control has increased our support team's efficiency dramatically. The build in logging is second to none, and overall is incredibly feature rich. I can't say enough about this software.

    Cons

    If I had to choose something I like the least about this software is the initial learning curve. It took a little time to get used to, but overall it was still incredibly intuitive.

    We use this to provide support to end users remotely, and with our field techs when management to a device is down via a cellphone hotspot.

    Pros

    Great business solution for remote management and supporting end users remotely.

    Cons

    Support could be better, they refer you to the FAQ on their support website quite often. We have really only had to contact them once and it turned out they were experiencing an outage that got resolved after about an hour or so.

    Wake On LAN doesn't seem to be working like on the PC.

    Pros

    ConnectWise Control has every feature I could ever want in remote management and it's very fast to connect to my client's computers.

    We use ConnectWise Control in our MSP for all of our customers and it provides us with easy access to our customer's​ machines remotely.

    Pros

    Easy to set up and has a great integration into ConnectWise Automate.

    Cons

    It is sold on a per license basis which sometimes makes it difficult​ if you run out.

    Pros

    I started with ScreenConnect before they were bought by ConnectWise. At the time I was able to get a self-hosted license for a very reasonable price, and annual renewals were prorated, hence also inexpensive. The software itself is supremely useful for remotely managing servers, and supporting end users. The remote agent is very resource friendly, stays quiet and out of the way. Connections are reliable, and features like file transfer, multi-monitor, app toolbox, and chat are included.

    Cons

    There's not much I don't like about it. The change in ownership brought about changes in pricing. It would be more expensive to begin with it today, but thankfully i am grandfathered in at the old prices, at least for now. They have added a cloud model where you don't need to self-host and can pay by the month. It's still worth the price.

    We use it for remote management of endpoints after moving away from LogMeIn and we would never go back. I have tried several other platforms and this one is top tier and the pricing is in-line with what is expected, even a bit less than other solutions.

    Pros

    I like that the UI is laid out well and that it doesn't take too many clicks to get to anywhere or do anything. This is efficiency and productivity enhancing.

    Cons

    Honestly, I can't think of anything I don't like. Yeah nothing is perfect but solid and functional are what I need and it is both.

    I like the ease of sending clients to a custom url with my company name in it and talking them through giving us access to their machine so we can support them.

    Cons

    The UI is a little lack luster. Very functional but I wish it had a cleaner feel or let us choose the color pallet our users see.

    Nearly a year after leaving Teamviewer

    Benefits are cost saving, ease of use, better customer response and a fast interface that works across all platforms, which for me is essential. I just think this is almost perfect, but there is always room for improvement

    Pros

    The software interface is better than anything else I have come across in 20 odd years of using support tools in IT. There are not real minus issues when it comes to having a tool that does what you need it to do without issues, confusion for the end user. The ease to install and manage is also a massive benefit cost wise it cannot be faulted and that coupled with second to none customer service makes ConnectWise Control the winner for me.

    Cons

    There is a overly complex SQL driven setup for customisation, that has none programmer I find impossible to fathom, it shouldn't be that hard this day and age, a much more user friendly drag and drop style environment would be welcome in future releases

    ConnectWise control has greatly improved my response time to issues and leaves me with less technical difficulties than competitors.

    Pros

    Ease of use, integrated tools, clear and intuitive interface.

    Cons

    While the connectwise view technical preview product has great promise it does not work 100% of the time. Having said that I think it's great.

    Since I've switched from LogMeIn I have not regretted it once. The product is not only affordable it is consistent.

    Cons

    This product is definitely for the IT/Technical user. Some third-party app integration is not as straight forward as competitors, but they work ok once you know what to do.

    Happy with it and because I didn't use any of the central reporting features, this was an easy switch.

    Pros

    Easy to use as a remote control software for both adhoc and unattended remote access sessions. As a remote application it is just as user friendly as all the other easy to deploy freebies on the market today. It works better with multiscreen remote sessions then I have seen with other product and is ever more common these days.

    The option to customize portal branding and desktop agent with your logo and domain is beneficial in establishing your image.

    Cons

    The product doesn't have the reporting and monitoring capabilities found in the "central" competitor.
    Management of the portal is not intuitive and requires plug ins with a little customizing of scripts to get them going.

    Speed and ease of connection to all the PC's I need to remotely administer is great. Toolbox comes in very handy for running diagnostic tools and the command line is helpful as well. It also installs with very little problem and has a very low system overhead.

    Wish there was some reporting capability such as reports for disconnected PC, idle, etc.

    Overall its a great product and I could highly recommend it to a friend.

    Pros

    Its just simple to use and easy to get connected. I'm easily able to connect with my customers for single use or unattended support whenever needed.

    Cons

    Sometimes you cant get the unattended support client to install, expecially if its been installed before. Can never seem to get it to reconfigure the connection.
