- Value for money: 4.7/5
- Functionality: 4.6/5

### Rating distribution

- 4 stars: 305 reviews (21%)
- 3 stars: 33 reviews (2%)
- 2 stars: 7 reviews (0%)
- 1 star: 4 reviews (0%)

### Most mentioned pros

- We use it to manage and support computers across multiple locations, and it's made day-to-day IT support much simpler — quick unattended access, easy ad-hoc sessions for end users, and minimal setup friction.
- I also appreciate the "Bulk Deployment" options and the ability to organize computers into groups, which makes managing multiple machines for a single client very efficient.
- The unattended access feature has been one of the most valuable capabilities, allowing us to securely access and support devices even when users are unavailable.

### Most mentioned cons

- The file transfer speed can occasionally lag on lower-bandwidth connections compared to some high-end competitors, and the initial setup of the unattended agent on macOS requires a few extra security permission steps (though this is largely due to Apple’s OS restrictions).
- Sometimes renaming devices and creating groups can be a bit cumbersome, as can creating groups, since you have to go to separate and different sections.
- What I dislike is that there can occasionally be minor performance hiccups or limitations depending on the client’s network connection, which can impact the smoothness of a session.

My overall experience with Zoho Assist has been excellent. It is a reliable remote support tool that makes it easy to connect to client devices and solve problems quickly. The software is stable, secure, and user-friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and dependable remote desktop solution.

#### Pros

everything i like most about Zoho Assist I like everything about Zoho Assist. It is easy to set up, simple to use, and works well for remote support. The connection is fast and secure, the interface is clean, and file transfer is smooth. It helps me troubleshoot customer issues quickly without any complicated setup. The pricing is also reasonable

#### Cons

There is very little I dislike about Zoho Assist. Sometimes the connection speed depends on the internet quality, and a few advanced features take time to learn. The mobile app could also be improved with more options, but these are only minor issues.

Overall, my experience has been a good one. I needed a program that I could jump on, send a link and access a computer remotely without needed excess drivers and other random things installing in the background, just a few buttons and I'm connected. I tried using other programs but they seem like they were made in the 80s compared to this.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I have a small business, and Zoho Assist helps me so much. The value for money is amazing, since I use the free account I'm able to not only connect remotely but I can have a few computers on unattended access so I can help whenever. We have multiple branches and being able to jump on and assist is a Godsend. It's so easy to use, I have people who are not computer savvy able to use it and it just works. The connection is stable, never having any connection issues at all.

#### Cons

Honestly, nothing. I don't like that it's always asking me to pay for it, but I think they finally got me today and I'm going to upgrade to the $18 plan as one pro user, and no unattended access except the free ones.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho Assist

Chrome remote desktop was a terrible product.

Overall, Zoho Assist has been a dependable, cost-effective remote support solution. We use it to manage and support computers across multiple locations, and it's made day-to-day IT support much simpler — quick unattended access, easy ad-hoc sessions for end users, and minimal setup friction. It does exactly what we need without unnecessary complexity or inflated pricing. I'd recommend it to any small or mid-sized business that needs reliable remote access.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Zoho Assist is incredibly easy to deploy and use. Unattended access setup across multiple computers and sites was straightforward, and connections are fast and reliable even over slower networks. The pricing is very reasonable compared to competitors like TeamViewer or LogMeIn, and there's no nagging about commercial use. File transfer, multi-monitor navigation, and remote reboot/reconnect all work smoothly. It's also browser-based, so technicians don't need to install a heavy client to start a session.

#### Cons

Occasionally the remote session can lag on high-resolution displays, and the mobile app experience isn't quite as polished as the desktop version. Some advanced settings are buried in menus and take a bit of digging to find. Reporting and session logs could be more detailed for admins managing a larger fleet of devices.

### Reliable Remote Support with Zoho Assist for Small Business

Overall, my experience with Zoho Assist has been very positive. It provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for delivering remote support, which is essential for running a small IT-focused business. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it offers strong functionality and ease of use, making it a valuable tool for supporting clients and maintaining efficient operations.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Zoho Assist for my small business is how simple and effective it is for providing remote support to my clients. It allows me to quickly connect to client machines, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems without needing to be on-site, which saves both time and money. The interface is straightforward, and the ability to start sessions quickly makes it easy to deliver responsive support. It’s a practical tool that helps me maintain a professional and efficient support experience for my clients.

#### Cons

What I dislike is that there can occasionally be minor performance hiccups or limitations depending on the client’s network connection, which can impact the smoothness of a session. Some advanced features are also locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be a consideration for a small business trying to keep costs down. While it generally works well, there are moments where it doesn’t feel as polished as some larger, more established remote support platforms.

#### Reasons for choosing Zoho Assist

I found Zoho to be priced well and have better features. I've used it in a past role as well which was favorable to me

I’ve been using Zoho Assist for almost 10 years, and it has been a consistently reliable tool in my remote support toolbox. Over the years, I’ve witnessed how it has steadily improved; not only in performance but also in usability and available features. It's now more practical and powerful than ever. Even when other popular tools fail, Zoho Assist has come through for me, proving to be a true lifesaver in critical moments. It’s affordable, dependable, and well-suited for both small and large-scale remote support environments. Very user-friendly: I’d say 95% of the interface is intuitive and smooth to use. Only affected when internet connection drops which in my case is due to rural network limitations, not the platform itself.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Zoho Assist is packed with useful features like file transfer, chat, audio, clipboard sharing, and excellent video quality. It works reliably even in rural areas with limited bandwidth, which is a gamechanger. The unattended access feature, once set up, is incredibly helpful for ongoing support tasks. I especially appreciate the responsiveness of their customer support and how easy it is to onboard new technicians once they are familiar with the interface.

#### Cons

Setting up new devices in unattended mode can be slightly confusing at first, especially when trying to organize multiple devices into teams. However, with a bit of practice, this becomes much easier and totally worth it considering the functionality it provides.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho Assist

Mainly because of cost. There's no other reason.

My overall experience with Zoho Assist has been extremely positive. It’s a reliable, professional-grade remote support tool that consistently delivers when I need it most. Whether I’m helping a customer troubleshoot an issue or accessing a system remotely for maintenance, the process is smooth and efficient from start to finish. What stands out is how dependable it is—connections are stable, sessions are quick to launch, and I rarely run into technical hiccups. It also presents well to customers, which is important for maintaining a professional image during support sessions. Overall, Zoho Assist has made remote support faster, easier, and more streamlined, allowing me to focus more on solving problems and less on dealing with the software itself.

#### Ratings breakdown

Zoho Assist has been an absolute game-changer for remote support. What I liked most is how easy it is to connect to a client’s computer—no complicated setup, just a quick session link and you're in. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it simple to use even during high-pressure support situations. The performance is solid, with fast connections and minimal lag, even when working on more demanding tasks. I also really appreciate the unattended access feature—it allows me to manage systems without needing the customer present, which is huge for efficiency. Another standout is the reliability. Sessions stay stable, file transfers are smooth, and I’ve never had to worry about losing connection mid-job. Overall, Zoho Assist saves time, looks professional to clients, and makes remote support feel effortless.

#### Cons

Interface could use some updating, but it is mostly a cosmetic Con. Also, it would be nice to be able to launch a session directly through Zoho Desk, along with the associated ticket times (machine interaction times).
