AppointMate by Delta Health Technologies is a cloud-based home health solution that helps private duty businesses of all sizes to manage their business operations. It features scheduling, billing and payroll functionalities.

AppointMate can be offered as a standalone solution or integrated with Delta's Encore software suite and other third-party accounting and billing applications. AppointMate is compliant with HIPAA regulations and stores the patient and practitioner data in a central repository.

AppointMate offers employers the tools that help them to gain visibility over staff and scheduling with dashboards that show real-time revenue, employee availability and logged hours, with alerts for overdue appointments. Employees can clock in and out via the integrated telephony or their mobile device, log timesheets and access turn by turn directions to clients' homes. AppointMate provides multiple reports that can be exported to Excel, CSV or PDF that help users to keep track of prospects and referrals.

Support is available via phone and email.

Can be tricky to learn

I would like to see the software become simpler for new users in the future. Once you learn the software its great!

Pros

-This was a good software option for in home care becasue it was very detailed. You were able to case note on every little detail very easily which is very helpful to the others in the office to be able to look back on your notations if they are taking over your task.
- This software generates great reports when you need documentation for certain tasks

Cons

I feel that it took me a long time to learn the software. It wasn't as simplified as other software products that I have used in the past. Once you learn the software and everything that it has to offer you then it is much easier but it definitely takes some time.

Pros

It takes in every aspect of scheduling. You can live status track appointments and easily view from both client and employee aspects.

Cons

On the odd occasion it will run slow as it is a web based product, but this doesn't happen a lot. It's other positive aspects out way this

We really want to use Appointmate and if the paperless option were possible we would be so grateful!

Pros

Appointmate is very user friendly. Its easy to use, easy to teach, and has a lot of features that we haven't even fully explored yet.

Cons

Appointmate offers literally everything we want in a software program with one exception- the ability for paperless reporting.

At the beginning, they were wonderful. But once they were bought out by Delta, that ended all support. I currently have five support tickets that are all in excess of six months old, and there has been no response at all. When I ask for any new info, I am always told the same thing: it is with the development team. The development team never gives dates; there is no promise that they will even fix the problem. I have a Report Request that is over three years old. I periodically update it just to poke them. I have never had a response on it.

Likes Least

Nothing. I am only waiting until our corporate office finishes their product and then will be moving away from this.

Recommendations

It just isn't worth the aggravation. Again, the people at the other end of the phone line are very pleasant and want to help; they just have no ability to do so. It is a real tragedy because it started out as a wonderful product with incredible support. Not so anymore.

I have had AppointMate by Delta Health Technologies for several years. I have been extremely happy with the program and the cost. However, I sure wish they would get an app for my iPad. I recommend AppointMate to everyone!!!
