Pros/Cons
Pros
- Easy to use, love the restaurant suggestions and what’s available now options. Points are great too that can be redeem for gift certificates/cash.
- Easy to use, provides great marketing options, well supported. The product support has been great, operationally and from our representative.
- The best part is you earn points with them which turns into gift cards that you can use at some of your favorite places.
Cons
- Nothing from open table, I got annoyed when a restaurant no longer used Open Table and stopped taking reservations, but that is on the restaurant, not open table.
- I dislike that the search query resets every time the user views a restaurant. No map view on mobile site makes it difficult to use to make decisions on the go.
- Never once have I had a problem with this app in booking or reserving a table at a restaurant.
Pros
- After learning the system and training on it we were quite pleased with the ease of use and my wife was especially pleased with the marketing abilities.
- Our airport has been using Preferred Patron for a little over a year. The customer service has been outstanding in helping us "fit" the program to our uses.
- We have been able to expand our rewards in an easy to use way thanks to Preferred Patron. After shopping many programs this was the only one that felt like a good fit to our business model.
Cons
- Also sometimes it gets confusing as to where to go to access the different tasks that can be done using the system.
- I stopped using the email marketing campaign part of my account and I now send all my emails through Constant Contact.
- After speaking to a few companies, there was no doubt who we were going to choose.
