  • Pros

  • This product is much more user friendly then the two products we used before. We have had excellent support and recommend this product to other agencies.
  • The multitasking capabilities, the ability to utilize multiple platforms, and the ease of use are easily the top three "likes" for this software.
  • I've been fortunate to work with the Rave team from sales to setup and they have an amazing team that is responsive and quick to work with us regarding solutions.
  • Cons

  • Aside from adding and removing people, it can be time consuming to manage. It appears that with the FCC requirements for non-emergency notifications this is only going to get worse.
  • We switched from MIR3 which was a nightmare to use. It was very confusing and counter intuitive.
  • Very hard to set up to connect with our HR software to add and update users.

  • The client is very happy and at ease that we have a reliable emergency notification system. It was simple to set up and user friendly when making frequent changes to group lists.
  • What further impressed me was when I discovered a bug; their swift response and quick resolution indicated a genuine commitment to user feedback.
  • What a great software to keep the line of communication open. It is a great success for us.
  • Cons

  • In the beginning it is hard to navigate until you have used it multiple times.
  • Due to Penn policy, however, we are not allowed to alert our community of immediate emergencies. We must rely on fire alert systems or Penn proper for information about an incident.
  • We have not yet had to use it for its native purpose - crisis communication.
