eZee Absolute Software


 

eZee Absolute from eZee Technosys is an integrated cloud-based solution designed to help hotel operators of different sizes to handle regular operational work. The software has a property management system with multi-property support, which allows hoteliers to use a single login to manage the reservations and online distribution of various properties. Users can customize the system to match the needs of their particular hotel type, whether it is an independent hotel, chain of hotels, bed and breakfast, or resort.

The "Stay View" displays the details of an individual reservation, such as guest contact information, arrival, departure dates, and billing information. The application also shows reservations in a traditional tape-chart view so that hoteliers have an overview of occupancy on a single screen.

eZee Absolute other features include a hotel channel manager that automatically updates hotels’ information on travel websites, and a restaurant POS called eZee BurrP! to manage transactions in hotel restaurants, bars, cafes and room service. The software integrates with all other eZee products, such as eZee Reservation, an online booking engine, and eZee Centrix, a channel manager.

I would choose another channel manager because they update the software and change it like 360 degrees form night to day all the time

Pros

Many features for all the hotel admin
Connect with almost the most OTAs on the market
Have a 24/7 support

Cons

If one of the rates is not ok because of any reason like an OTA discount everthing get wrong
Not so user friendly for the hoteliers
Many features that are for the same use
Not a pretty interface
One of the most expensive channel manager
The support team is on India so the english is really confuse sometimes

Cons

The user interface is poor. The menus and options are not intuitive, making it hard to navigate. If I don't use it for over a month I always need to check my notes to know how to get to the right page.

No hardware and maintenance needed just a pc and internet connections. Very versatile and configurable to our environment.

Cons

I have not found any so far. Internet speeds are not really their fault. There is the fact that the absolute package is only online would be the only fault so far.

Few times i have experienced difficulty in communicating. Have experienced difficulty in managing promotions on booking.com compared to other OTAs

Recommendations

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. We are using following applications from eZee;
1. eZee absolute (Front Office Management)
2. eZee Centrix (Online Channel Management)

After using the above applications we are happy with their solutions so far and we are planning to integrate our accounting package, with eZee system. We will be taking BurrP to manage our restaurant.

Haven't had a chance to work on similar products from other competitors, but based on our experienced with eZee, i would definitely recommend their solutions to others.

1. Can post room food bill from Optimus directly into the rooms
2. Reports give great operational and financial snapshots.
3. Auto night audit feature saves time for my front desk staff
4. Mobile app lets me track bookings, upcoming arrivals and departures as well as in house guest folios on the go
5. Accounting software interface enables me to transfer date in a smooth and efficient manner to Tally
6. Customer support is for real, always available
7. OTA bookings are directly posted to the software and are visible

Cons

1. You need laser printer to print room invoices so don't try to use dot matrix, which they will advice you as well
2. It took me a while to understand the back end configuration but once you learn it its a great tool to customize the software to your needs so be ready to spend sometime with the configuration part from time to time to make changes when they arise and also help is available
3. Need decent seep internet and all the time to run the software, I switch to a new and better internet service provider after the software was installed but what was good for customer service as well since we provide free WiFi to customers

Pros

Web App, Clear dashboard of daily activity and revenue generated. The staff were very friendly and the advise they gave is quite informative. The Cloud Developer Mr. Vali Sheik Mohamed knows the product very well and quick trouble shooting. More than the technical understanding acting mature, excellent communication with client to resolve issues, good leadership, attitude to help client to make use of the solution is what we noted in him. overall good product.

easy to operate and we add rates and inventory is very easy and also see all the privours booking is easy

Cons

all other features like setting , revenue are useless and we not use a single to it so please remove it .

I have had the opportunity to work with numerous PMS and POS solutions for in excess of 15 years in the local market and rate eZee Absolute as the top performing solution in terms of features, ease of use and flexibility. The fact that the solution is cloud based offers my clients an affordable solution with the necessary redundancy. The system architecture reduces implementation time and further allows for increasing efficiencies when managing front office processes. The product has more than 400 integrations which allows us to provide a seamless integrated solution to our clients. The technology is always in line with industry trends which allows us to offer our clients a competitive edge. The after sale support is phenomenal with the majority of our calls receiving resolution during the first contact. We have used the eZee suite of products extensively implementing it in numerous properties and would highly recommend it to any hotel with the view of improving efficiencies.

Cons

Initially there were specific local settings that were not available, however the approach of Ezee to integrate to local vendors and the speed at which this development is carried out reinforced my initial belief that the product was well suited to the South African market.

their availability to help and customer support really orientated to help out

ease of use without their help - have to contact support pretty often to help me out - happily they are reactive
