It also provides forms such as 1099-MISC forms and tax tables for both federal as well as the state AME Professional Payroll allows users to customize taxes for various types of pay and track used and available vacation or sick time. Reports for workers compensation, local taxes, earnings and more are also available. Payroll can be posted to a general ledger as needed and employee mailing labels can be printed. It provides options for separate reporting by department and multi-state processing. AME Payroll's Direct Deposit module gives users the ability to automatically create a direct deposit file in ACH format (ACH file) from payroll information. Payroll amounts can be scheduled to transfer from the company’s account to employees checking and/or savings accounts. This information resides in ACH file, and this file must be uploaded to a Third Party Provider of choice or a bank for further processing. AME... Payroll's E-file module allows users to process the W2’s and create a file for SSA and some special state formats. The W2REPORT file can be saved and then uploaded on-line to the Social Security Administration and some state websites for processing. The module also allows users to process 1099’s and create a file that can be uploaded on-line through the IRS “FIRE” System. Registration with the Social Security Administration and the IRS is required. AME Professional offer modules for direct deposit, e-filing, PDF converting and client entry which can be purchased separately. AME Professional Payroll is compatible with Windows computers.
