Costumer Service is the best
It is a very robust system user friendly everything is in one platform, continuous updates, payroll is accurate, but most important is their customer support
PROSTime management communicates with payroll, easy to use, very flexible, all kinds of reports can be extracted, analytics are awesome, but most important is their support team, when you have an issue, they are super friendly, professional and knowledgeable, reply or call in a timely manner and they are always there for you going the extra mile. The company is always looking for ways to improve .
CONSIt does not communicate with benefits, and a little bit limited when it comes to performance management

Avanti is my go to!
I can still remember my first year end back in 2007 with Avanti. It was so quick and smooth! I was amazed! The support team is incredible. Reply is quick and always so very helpful. Running a payroll is so quick!
CONSSecurities is somewhat complicated in that there are so many steps. Understanding set up is confusing

Reasons for switching to Avanti
The software was so slow. It took 4 to 5 hours to run a payroll. If you made a change, you had to rerun of course so payroll had to be started several days before deposits. There was no option for excel export. Everything had to be printed

Avanti Review
Overall I find the software complicated and slow. I think that it still has a long way until it is user friendly for hr employees who use the platform.
PROSThis software has a lot of reporting capabilities and the onboarding set up and process is fairly simple and effective.
CONSI often find the platform to be overly complicated, especially with regards to the access levels and role assignments. In the report designer feature and other capabilities within the platform there is often overly complicated coding needed which is something that as an HR employee I don't have much knowledge on.

experience has been good but I find the new technical support challenging. It was much more efficient when I could call the help line and get help on the spot.
PROSIt was Canadian, it was possible to roll our current information into the system.
CONSexpensive to get started. It was alot of work but worth it in the end

Avanti Implementation
I'm glad that the Avanti new payroll system has been implemented successfully thanks to Avanti project team!
PROSAvanti is user friendly system and easy to change and manage it.
CONSI'm a first user and just using Avanti system for a month and I don't have any least thing yet because I'm still learning abut the new payroll system.
Reason for choosing Avanti
Because the Avanti has more useful and customizing functions than others and understand our business, University. During a demo presentation, Other alternative products can't show what we need and didn't focus on our business industry. so it's more complicated to understand. Also other products' cost is over the our budget.
Reasons for switching to Avanti
The contract is finished and the cost is too expensive to upgrade new Ceridian system.
