AwardCo. is exactly what we needed and more!
I initially started looking for a new partner after hitting wall after wall where we were. We wanted to connect our swag store on Spotify to our loyalty platform so our sales reps could use their loyalty currency to purchase merch and AwardCo. made it happen when seemingly no one else could! They also helped to modernize our program, our reps love the ability to shout each other out on the Feed!
PROSWorking with AwardCo has been incredible for Day 1. I sourced them out after running into issue after issue with our previous loyalty platform provider and it has been the best decision! They helped us break through walls in our program we had been up against for years!
CONSI know it's a good process to specialize in sales, onboarding and then Account Management, but it's never a simple transition between company contacts. That being said, we often get sold on a product only to discover the follow through isn't there. That's not the case with AwardCo., every contact we've worked with there has been incredible!
Reasons for switching to Awardco
As I said above, our provider offered great customer service, but the platform limitations were preventing our program from growing and impacting engagement & adoption from our sales reps.

Very High Quality Company Engagement and Reward System
I enjoy the engagement and understand how critical this is to employee and business culture and retention. I have always enjoyed shopping and spending my points when I earn them an always receive wonderful items with very fast delivery.
PROSEase of use, Email Notification in Addition to Shared Posted Verbiage, Tie-In Ability to earn Points to Spend at Amazon, Ease of Ability to Add Comments and Emojis to other Shout Outs.
CONSI cannot find lists of fellow co-workers Anniversaries and Birthdays for those who have opted in to share this info. I was able to use this feature on 2 prior platforms similar to this. Also the Emojis added do not give any details about who gave them. I do not know if this is on purpose but if the idea is to be similar to a "Like" function, those indicate who gave them.
Reasons for switching to Awardco
It was a company decision but I agree this is a much better platform and enjoy it a lot more. It has a much cleaner look and I appreciate the AwardCo points that can be spent on Amazon, which I am heavy user of anyway. I love the products I have earned/bought and the delivery is always fast and fantastic.

Really Great Incentives as an Employee
I find that I take the time to recognize coworkers more often than I would verbally and I can offer some tangible form of gratitude.
PROSI use awardco as an employee and I love how simple it is to award my coworkers Kudos points and how easy and versatile it is to use them. I can buy almost anything I could want from Amazon and more.
CONSTracking my order isn't always the easiest and the returns process takes a few more steps than it does with normal Amazon packages, but it's still pretty easy.

Detailed customization with an excellent support team!
So far, the greatest issue that we've solved with Awardco is the timeliness of recognition. We can go in and recognize one another in real time. This has also opened up some transparency on what different teams are doing.
PROSWhat we like most about Awardco, is how easy it is to use. Even if people are not skilled with technology or are not familiar with social media, it's really quick and simple to guide them on how to recognize.
CONSI wish there was an app, many users have expressed a wish for that.

I really enjoyed my experience with Awardco. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. I liked the level of customization that the program allowed, as well as the level of service during set up, implementation, and post implementation. Everyone I have dealt with has been personable. I receive good support when needed and quick resolutions to any issues that arise.

A Great Way to Recognize Employees!
The whole process from the original chats with the Sales team and then the progression to Implementation were seamless. The customer service team is super helpful and very understanding even when I feel stupid about an admin feature. I have yet to find anyone who doesn't obviously believe in the product and want the customer (me) to feel valued and successful.
PROSWe use Awardco to recognize Birthdays, work anniversaries and wellness achievements. One of our companies even gave their employees a holiday gift surprise of points!
CONSSetting up new recognitions - this is a little more confusing! and the budget process can be cumbersome but the new explanations and "How We Built This" have helped!

Awardco is awesome!
My employees are so excited when they get their anniversary award. I enjoy telling them all the ways they can redeem their points. It has created a lot of excitement in our workplace.
PROSMy employees like the prepaid Visa card the best because they can spend it anywhere they want. They also like that Awardco is linked to Amazon which has any product you can imagine for them to purchase.
CONSThere is nothing that I don't like about Awardco. Honestly.

Easy to implement, Easy to use
Great experience - the weekly check-ins during implementation were key! We were able to get the system built and ready to go live quickly and seamlessly!
PROSTakes the burden off of a small team to manage the ongoing recognitions that greatly impact engagement and retention.
CONSIntegration was fairly seamless, unfortunately we had a bit of a issue when we went "live".

I think it is great

Awardco review
Overall, I really appreciate the support that I get. My CSM would always get back to me and explain things further, if I needed.I feel that it is easy to use and things are not complicated to do. Steps for each process aren't too difficult.
PROSOur company chose Awardco because of it's ease of use and the option of shopping directly on Amazon. Gift cards are great choices, but sometimes people will not use them, so allowing shopping and having it shipped to your house was a great choice. Giving a recognition is a few easy steps and we wanted something that was easy for all our employees to be able to do.
CONSWhen we were in the transition phase of setting this up, there was an organized project management tool used, which we never used before. We had some hiccups with it, but then we received guidance and it went smoother.I will say that we had been handed over to some different people over time, which I understand that people change positions, but some of the communication differed. Sometimes finding the info you may need, such as a certain report, can be a little challenging.

We chose Awardco because at the time, it was reasonably priced. It offered easy steps for everyone to use it.We really liked the option of shopping on Amazon. We felt that it was a more modern offer than others.

Must have for engagement!
With employees spread further apart than ever due to remote work, Awardco has helped bridge some of the issues that occurred by a providing them a platform to engage and recognize each other.
PROSIntegration was an easy process. The ability to have multiple programs is great so that you can offer a variety of ways for employees to interact. The product is easy to use from an admin’s perspective as well as an end user. The options for awards is ever growing and there is literally something for everyone. The ability to offer charities is a huge plus since it allows employees to feel like they are making a difference. Another option that is great is the ability to have local businesses offered as rewards. A lot of employees like to help build their communities and this is a great way.
CONSBeing able to see approvals and denials as the leader would be nice. The ability to look back and review is always helpful. The reporting functionality had gotten more robust but there are still a few abilities that would be nice.

The greatness of Awardco
Overall I have had an amazing experience with Awardco. I have received awards and giving awards that would have normally been dismissed as normal day to day activities. It’s the recognition of these task that make people more likely to give more effort.
PROSAwardco is just a great overall program. The overall setup is easy to use both to navigate the site, give awards, or to redeem points. With this program you can recognize people for the little things we feel go unnoticed both improving moral and overall production.
CONSProbably only the ability to search for more products on the Amazon tab.

Great incentive award system
I haven't been directly involved with implementing Awardco, but ever since we switched I have heard nothing but good things from employees and managers alike. It is SO much easier and faster than our old system/procedure for awarding and recognizing employees.
PROSI love how easy it is to cash in on your awards. I love how it is fast... If my manager rewards me with points they are available immediately. I also love that most points don't expire... it's fun to see them build up.
CONSIt would be nice to be able to access it outside of work... usually I don't have time to cash in at work so I just opt for a giftcard and browse later.

I love AWARDCO!
I love being able to earn points on this platform. It really makes me feel appreciated and acknowledged. This is an awesome platform for any employer to have.
PROSI love that the company I work for decided to implement this program for its employees. I Love having the ability to recognize and shout out my coworkers and manager. I also love the recognition that I get for the hard work that I do
CONSThe only thing that I feel takes a little bit a time getting used to is how to search for items when it comes to redeeming your points. I have definitely been able to redeem my points on some great things which are usually gifts for my family. I just wish that everything that was on Amazon was also on award coat but I understand completely. Fantastic product with many options
AwardCo is currently housing all peer to peer recognitions, service anniversary program, wellness program, and will be a large part of our employee appreciation week. It is a fantastic one stop shop for all employee recognition which is great for busy staff to work in to their dat. easy and fast means more recognition and happier employees.
PROSThe entire process was easy. I have had a great experience creating updates and new programs from the success of the initial roll out. Any idea for the software they are able to execute.
CONSThe cost of their storefront was unfortunately too much, however they were able to work out a way to function with out current vendor at no additional cost.
Reasons for switching to Awardco
The previous product was very limited in scope. The connection to Amazon and the opportunity to easily add programs made this switch very easy.

Engaging and rewarding
I have grown quite fond of the various reward options but I have always loved the ability to keep tabs on all the peer-to-peer recognition in the company. It's a simple tool but it does exactly what it should do and it does this well.
CONSI would always welcome additional rewards but I don't have any true negatives. It would be "nice to have" the ability to receive all recognitions, including work anniversaries, with the automated tracking e-mail.
