Betterteam software


Betterteam is a cloud-based applicant tracking system (ATS) for small and midsize enterprises. Primary features include applicant sourcing, applicant tracking, a job-ad builder, email inbox management and job boards.

It allows users to post jobs on various job boards and advertise them on Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn, SimplyHired and other websites. It provides a complete view of candidate credentials on a single screen that recruiters can review.

Betterteam can accept online applications, track candidates and manage email communications. The drag-and-drop designer and pre-built templates allows users to create job ads. It offers integration with Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, Outlook and other email clients.

It is available for purchase on a monthly subscription basis. Android and iOS mobile applications are also offered. Support is offered via phone and email.

    I received many quality applicants for the position I posted. I was pleased at how easily it was to then download their resume, and correspond with the candidates. I also used the trial, but would not have blinked an eye at spending for one job posting.

    Pros

    It was easy to maneuver through, and the presentation was inviting to the user.

    Cons

    Wasn't sure what the like and disapprove buttons actually did, other than maybe mark the candidates?

    We had numerous submissions for the job posting and recruited a candidate with the exact qualifications we were seeking.

    The site was user friendly and very easy to use with additional support coming from the well informed team on wording, target audience and job outlines.

    If there was a way to single out people that are wanting to get into what they actually are seeking instead of having people randomly apply

    Best applicants came from this site. We posted on others and got candidates that had no relevant qualifications. People seem to be on this site more than the others.

    Pros

    Very easy to use. Where I didn't have enough information, a team member wrote to me and asked for more.

    Required a lot of detail for each section. Other than than, nothing.

    Reaching out to all different types of employees means having to tailor to each site. Betterteam did that for me and I was overwhelmed with qualified applicants!

    Everything about the process was simple, the customer support team handled so much of it for me.

    Super impressed with the results we received on our first posting. We've used other outlets, including Social Media, and never saw these kinds of results. Well over 75 applicants in a single day - and all real candidates - not ghost accounts to bump the numbers. We know where to go first next time we need additional staff - great service and fast replies ! Being a small business owner this saved us a TON of time and effort. Bravo !

    This software provides many services that helped us contact many potential employees. Betterteam made it easy to reach out by instantly replying to resumes and having them come into our office right away for paperwork and interviews.

    Eliminates the hassle of applying on several job portals, instead it brings all the candidates to me.

    Cons

    The UX/UI features could afford to be a little better, but even then it's not an eyesore. It's still neat and easy enough to operate.

    It was easy to navigate through the responses I received and weed them down to the ones we wanted to speak with. I loved the tips I received on interviewing. I don't have to interview often so it was nice to have a refresher.

    Cons

    It would be nice if the chat was available at different times. I'm in the office an hour or so before they get started. I couldn't find information on a few questions I had (like do applicants get a message if I decline their resume.)

    There were absolutely no pros for this. There were alot of emails over a week that wasted my time. Would have been better with an upfront explaination of how it worked

    After many emails back and forth i was finally made aware that you can not advertise jobs for another country(australia) unless you have a presence in that country(South Afria)

    None. Just 3 days wasted when I was hoping for the best.

    Pros

    I liked the concept. Input a job description and it should be posted on over 100 job boards. This sounds actually too good to be true...

    Cons

    My job posting was delayed/denied because in the questionnaire it asks if you're hiring for your own company OR for a client company. If you choose client company, you are required to get permission prior to getting your ad posted. If I was to get approval, my client company could just cut me out and I'm out of business. So, no...this is not good.

    I help make it easier to choose people, it is so easy to use that you can access most of the cover letters and resumes in a single day. The customer service of works excellent. It is very easy to use and the platform is easy to understand. The price is also very attractive.

    Pros

    Sending to several tables Ease of use, it is very simple you get a lot of answers because the ad goes to several places. You can add easily. More applicants are obtained. Very good that you email the resumes directly, makes the applicants easier to follow and organize.

    Cons

    None in the tests I do, I still do not have any complaints. You can improve the part by listing the starting salaries for the candidates. I think there is a better tool than this for this purpose.
