Previously we were having staff send emails all over the place and keeping track of leave approvals, pending leave requests and balances was becoming problematic.

Bindle saves me so much time tracking, approving, and reporting time off and has eliminated all discrepancies. It was the perfect solution as we did not want or need additional HR functionality.

It's super easy to login and request days off while seeing what my coworkers are requesting to make sure we aren't overlapping with eachother.

This should be an option for customers to decide and not based on Bindle's your philosophy about leave.

For the little amount I have used the software, it seems pretty easy to navigate. I think it will work great at our organization.

Looked so long we considered building our own. Finally found Bindle & easy to set up and crucially do not need an instruction manual/training when I share with others in the team.

I can't get an overview or summary of all leave taken by individual.

The extra features such as Time in Lieu and long service accrual are great as well. Also very good support, our requests were answered promptly and even some suggestions integrated.

I like the simplicity, ease of use, accuracy, and limits on fluff. It does exactly what I and my employees need it to do and nothing more.

The org chart visualization is absolutely great and considering how fast it loads, I love referring back to it all the time. Integration with Google Calendar is great.

It is prevalent that I know this stuff and Pingboard has been great in helping me keep it straight.

I like that I can quickly and easily find other employees in my organization and also view the graphical org chart to see where people fit into the hierarchy of the business.

Couldn't find a way to see the remaining vacation days. No custom/additional status for out of office.

Both the desktop and app versions work amazingly well. I especially like the guess the name game on the app -- such a novel and fun idea.

The worst part I think is how the overall org chart focuses in and out. That can be difficult to navigate.

I love the integration with Slack, too. It's also nice to see the org chart in case you need to see how someone fits into the company.

Inexpensive and easy to get started the first few times of trial.

Layout is customer friendly, you can either drag and drop to make your own or use a template. Best thing for us is that the software is free for the amount of employees we have (less than 50).

I'm always surprised by how fast and responsive everything it. Also, they have great developer support, so there is a rich integration environment growing.

If you make a mistake it is all lost and you can start over again. There is no simple undo button.

This product is a great out-of-the-box solution that allows our employees to view our ever-changing org chart. Very easy to use and better than our intranet that was previously being used.

The Google Calendar integration is immensely helpful as well.

I love the ability to immediately find a number to contact who i am looking for. Having a phone number business and cell is a great.

The ability to see my coworker directory at a glance is a huge benefit, and the vacation board feature is really helpful day-to-day as well.

There a few seconds of lag time when expanding a section of the organization chart. Full employee directory does not have a column for location or department, thus could not sort via those parameters.

Works well for what it is. You can make a good looking chart with not a lot of effort.

Pingboard is super organized, easy to use, great value for the cost. You can use it with Google Cal.

This is costly if noone updates this so only if you spend the time on the system, you will get out the most out of it.

Bindle is a web-based time off authorization and management system which supports multiple types of time off. The system can be used for time off requests, approvals, annual leave balance calculations and tracking, time off reporting, and more. Bindle can be configured to match your existing time off policies perfectly, or you can use Bindle's intelligent defaults. 

Bindle allows users to add people to the system and invite employees by email, calculate annual leave allowances, set standard public holiday calendars from the built-in selection or create their own calendars to reflect their business’ holidays, and assign each employee an approver who is responsible for approving or rejecting their leave requests. Employees can view their remaining time off balances and leave request histories for both rejected and approved requests.

Employees can submit requests for time off online, with email notifications automatically sent to the relevant approver when a request is submitted. Approvers are shown how many other employees already have leave booked across the requested dates, and can use this to inform their decision. When a request is rejected or approved, the employee is automatically notified. Approvers can also reverse their decisions at any point, with employees notified of the change.
